Calling all hopeful
Calling all hopeful young writers!
Hi! I just wanted to say, that if you are doubtful about your work, DON'T BE! I know this girl (well, kind of, my grandma knows her grandma. So I haven't actually met her) and was 13 when her first book got published! So, again, if you're doubtful, just remember that there's still a chance! You just had to believe that you can do it, and you can probably do it! She did it!

Hey all, I
Hey all,
I haven't posted on here in a long time, if ever, but I wrote this poem a while ago and I've been trying to figure out if it's any good. Please let me know what you think!
Oh, and I was thoroughly depressed when I wrote this one so, just to warn you, it's a little strange...
Slipping Away
i’m slipping away, disappearing

Fun Holidays!
Fun Holidays!
What are your favorite obscure holidays? For example, May 1st, the day I posted this is Save the Rhinos Day, National Chocolate Parfait Day, and Mother Goose Day. Post your favorite obscure holidays here and see what everyone else comes up with.

So I'm writing
So I'm writing a vampire story. It's set in the Victorian era, and the vampires are pre-Victorian animate corpses with intellects roughly at the level of some of the stupider predators of the animal kingdom.
The vampire, Mort, is enslaved by a witch, Morgan (remember them, Admin? Don't worry I'm not gonna post any bloody exerts!) who, ah, bathes in blood in order to preserve her youth.
So they kill one Dr. Alexander Johnson's brother and best friend. He's not very happy about that, obviously.

When I joined
When I joined the Cricket forums, I was surprised to see that, unlike most of my friends, many of you have written novels, but I don't really know how many. Who has written a/some novel/s? How many? What are their word counts? How long did they take you?

I'm writing a
I'm writing a story (duh) and it's about a mermaid that falls in love with a sailor after she gets captured, but then the sailor hates her because he THOUGHT she tried to run away but she was actually trying to find some food. And when that all comes clear to him, he loves her again, but when the mermaid hears about stuff he doesn't like, she starts to worry that she picked the wrong person. That she should have gotten to know him before. Meanwhile, the sailor is just trying to make everything better, but he's failing.

As Nao doesn't
As Nao doesn't have time to post, I'm her "agent", I guess. She told me that I could put up here some poems that she has written. I think she's really good! I'm just copieing them in the original format from her blog. All written and copyrighted by Nao S. Please give me/her your thoughts on the poems below!
