Please visit both threads by this name. I'm starting an experiment where I have the same beginning of a round robin, but they can develope in two seperate ways. I changed my location and name for the threads (this one is labeled Thread #1 and Pirocks. The other is Thread #2 and Enceladus). Please don't post what you've written on the other thread! Thanks!

Round robin time! I think! Here goes:

The bright starts were shining in the dark night sky, the contrast making them even more beautiful. It was stunning.Then the peaceful affect was ruined as they started disapearing. one by one.

This frightning scenes was all over the news and by Friday everybody knew.I mean everybody knew that those brilliant bodies of light in the night sky were disapearing. Not what was actually happening. And why.

Help! I started this story last night, and am thinking of a comedy about a "spirit world," following these 4 traumatized and wacky spirits who died in strange ways. But I can't think of a plotline! And, remember, no no no no no no copying of any sort!

The last thing Ashley saw in the puddle before it happened was herself.

Experience

When writing, personal experience is something important to draw upon... but unfortunately such experience is not always available. Therefore, this thread is for anyone who is afraid of wrongly portraying something, needs more firsthand information on a subject, etc., etc. Just post what you're looking for, and hopefully someone will have some advice.

Weird laws!!! That's what this thread is about!! Do you have any weird laws in your state? Do you know of any? I know one that's really weird!!!!

In New York, it is illegal to walk around with an ice-cream cone in your pocket.....But only on Sundays!!!!! 

How weird is that!!! Tell me if you know of any others.....

I would like to know how a round-robin story works. I've seen them, but I am really confused about how it works.

Just for fun... Anyone want to rewrite Twilight? Get rid of all the purple prose, horrendous morals, and poorly developed characters? We'd still stick to the same basic plot, obviously, but we could get rid of the sparkles!

Anyone want to give it a shot? Not a parody mind, but a serious rewrite?
