omg guys i have the tea :)
basically i was at rowing practice and the high school team overlaps with mine, so i saw my friend (we'll call him g) and i waved to him. g was with this rly cute guy so later i went over and properly said hello. so g is like 'he thinks ur cute and he wants to date you'
talking about the guy i thought was cute. omg. so later i texted g and was like 'tell ur friend he's cute'
and he wanted my number. and i texted him for like two hours today and he's so funny and he likes me so like
and i'll see him for like five minutes on saturday because of practice overlap and i'm so excitedddd
side note: my puppy got a haircut and she looks like a pile of sticks

aaaa i'm actually so bored rn someone plz save me from my hw it's literally the first weekend of school why do i have sm to do??? this should be illegal i just wanna hyperfixate over soc (bc soc is life /srs) in peace not do two math packets for a class i don't even belong in (the math teachers only graded my placement test i did in june on THURSDAY! i had already been in math class mutiple times. and all the 2h classes where i should be are full so im just with kids a year or two older than me in intergrated 3 and i dont even like math ugh) or whatever like plz this is torture

I just did this English assignment of mine which was to take a picture of something that relates to your interests (her example was her peleton bike, this one girl did her gymnastics gym) and then write a short paragraph abt it. I chose my bookself, naturally. She said the writing doesn't have to be even one full page long... I swear I didn't even mean to, but I somehow wrote two full pages???? how????? idk just books are life (well i even said in it that books give me life uh)
well time to do more hw

*stares sadly at the weather forecast for the next week*
I miss cold weather. I also miss the trees at my school that used to provide actual shade before they all got trimmed. I also miss walking outside and not baking. I also miss opening the window. (ofc there are so many things to be thankful for, e.g. air conditioning and water and filters).
But also...
I miss CB, so I'm so happy to be here again!!! How's everyone doing?

Ikkk the heat is like ughhh. I feel like we're definitely breaking some records here haha (but no, like seriously). Yess I find it ironic that opening a window now doesn't make things cooler---it just bakes you. And AC is AMAZING---I'm so happy to have it!!!
And I'm doing pretty great actually!! How are you? Still swamped with school? :/

Oh dear, I hope the weather improves *virtual fans and trees and cold weather* But yay, it's so nice to see you again! Over here it's actually kind of chilly, I want to put an extra blanket on my bed >:)

so my train was running sort of late, but the subway station i was at had this cool musical instrument art installation thingy suspended from the ceiling - basically, you wave your hand in front of the sensor, and it releases a note that echoes on a similar instrument thingy on other side of the track. so some random people on the other side of the track and i played a whole song on these things while waiting for our trains to arrive, prancing from sensor to sensor like little kids, and idk man, i just love people sometimes.
(if anyone's curious, it's located on the n/r platforms in the 34th st subway station! (i don't live around there btw, in case the people who were curious happened to be creepy stalkers :P))
