Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

CBversary!!!! I joined the CB two years ago (actually a bit more, because I ghosted for a few days before I made my first post), and... gosh. Where do I even start? I'm so glad that I discovered the CB and made my very first post (a mistaken one on an old MCU questions thread XD) Y'all have meant so much to me and given me so many things.

First of all, you've been incredible friends, as well as basically my only friends (I only have one or two irl ones). I've made great (virtual) "friends" through MaFs (primarily Flamie and Lyric - it's been so great chatting with you :DD), but also I've just had the chance to be around all you great people. In this year particularly, I've gone through some good times and some not-so-good times, and it's been so wonderful to know that you're always there. The CB is creative, hilarious, and just so supportive <3 One of the things I love most about it is that it really is a community, a super caring, loving, happy, warm one. You managed to convince me that Taylor Swift is actually worth listening to, which was, believe me, a Very Impressive Accomplishment (I believe most of the credit goes to Peri for that). I've participated in Zoodle Wars and LTP battles and Random Thinking and everything else - the CB is so creative and hilarious and wonderful :)

And, ofc, I can't mention the CB without mentioning writing :) My writing has gotten so much better since I joined. Actually, I think I've written some of my best things in the last two years - doing written picturings and the Lilacgold solo write in 2022 helped me to get out of my hopefully-never-repeated phase of writer's block. (Speaking of which, @Lyric, I promise at some point I aM continuing with Lilacgold - I just have to find time and inspiration, which seem to be rather rare :/) The two solo writes I actually finished were so much fun to write, and y'all have always been so encouraging and supportive of my writing in general. My poetry has also gotten infinitely better, which is completely due to y'all: you introduced me properly to non-rhyming poetry, and inspired me by being literally some of the best poets (and writers, ofc) I've ever read. You're amazing :D And it was great to get a first place in the poetry contest (tysm @pangolin for that!!!)

An enormous shout-out to the admins too - thank you so, so much for doing everything to do, the CB as it is couldn't exist without you :D

And I could really go on forever but that probably would be advisable XD Here are a few ways we could celebrate - vote for the one you'd like most~

-A CB ball

-A revival of World Domination?? I found an old thread of it - I'm still not entirely sure how it works or if it caused too much drama or anything, but it might be fun :)

-Another Ultimate Written Picturings thread

-Possibly a leaf hunt, as an autumn variation of an egg hunt?
