I Never Wanted To Be Darkness

Note: This poem was inspired by some words that I collected from the Chatterbox. It turned out sort of creepy, though.

I stood outside in the cold

and watched the carefully created illusions;

they shone like storm-splattered puddles

I never wanted to be darkness

but the shadows collapsed upon me

Sentence Story

Okay, here's another one of my weird ideas. This is kind of like a game mixed with a round robin. We are writing a story, but the rule is that each time you add to the story you can only add one sentence. In addition, you aren't allowed to double post. Here's the first sentence:

Mandy was climing the back wall of the comic store when she was caught by the person that she was hoping she'd never see again.

Basically, we drop story ideas/scenes here for hire. Here's the thing : if you take one, you have to add one, so we won't run out. I'll drop two or three to start.

Soft black hair framed tan skin set with amber eyes. Amber eyes met small black ones that shone like rain-washed puddles, but with an eerie, greenish light.
