Emilie and Jessica!
Emilie and Jessica! All right, if no one else will make us a thread I will. So... What do you want this to be about? I was thinking fantasy, as long as we don't have any "fractured fairy-tales." I mean, they're great, but for all the eliminating of cliches, they're becoming cliche.

So I'm working on a story, and having trouble with my POVs. First? Third? Multiple? Single? Does anyone have any advice? What do you use? What I'm thinking now is that I'll do multiple, but with some characters in first and some in third. Also, do you ever write from the POV of your villains? That's another thing I'm thinking I might try. I need help! (SB's advice to me is twan. Is that a verb? I should twan?)

So-oo, I have a New Story™. Again. I'm not actually sure what it's going to be about except that it will heavily involve playing around with the standard Pantheon of Gods fantasy stereotype and involve a lot of backstabbing, both figurative and literal. It's in present tense, for no particular reason other than that it was fun when I did it a while ago with the Jack Frost story thing.
This is what I have thus far. I wants teh critiques. >.>

HELP! I like
HELP! I like to write stories, (of course, Hi! FYI, everything written in brackets is by me, Olive) and I use Word 2003 or 2002. And whenever I want to change fonts or something, it starts hanging (for about four minutes). So any suggestions for something else of where I can write?

Hi! Olive and
Hi! Olive and I would like to start a bit of a writing contest. (if it's okay with the admins) I'd like to give a thank you to Poetonearth13 for the idea. Here's how it goes:
1. You post a story in the comments section.
2. After Feb 2, contest closes, polls open.
3. People vote.
4. Olive and I tally the votes.
5. We figure out winner.
6. We write (or type) to the admins and ask them to publish winning story in next issue of Cricket.

Hey! It's me!
Hey! It's me! I'm gonna start an add-on story. Anyone can add to it. Please read the story and all the add-ons first before adding though. Thanks!
Liz looked around her. All she could see were trees, trees, and more trees. This was no help to her at all. She had spent the last two weeks tied up to a chair in the basement of an abandoned log house, and had been fed only a small piece of bread, and a puny bowl of stale milk. That was barely enough for Liz to keep her strength up.
