Hi! Olive and I would like to start a bit of a writing contest. (if it's okay with the admins) I'd like to give a thank you to Poetonearth13 for the idea. Here's how it goes:

1. You post a story in the comments section.

2. After Feb 2, contest closes, polls open.

3. People vote.

4. Olive and I tally the votes.

5. We figure out winner.

6. We write (or type) to the admins and ask them to publish winning story in next issue of Cricket.

But if there are fewer than three entries by Jan 25, this closes down. Frown

 

Sounds like fun, Alexa and Olive! Just so you know, we can't publish the winning entry in Cricket (no matter how fantastic it is!) because we have a policy of not publishing children's work, except for our contest entries. But maybe you can start a thread dedicated to the winning entry, so that it's "published" online. 

Remember, Chatterboxers, to keep your entries reasonably short (no novels, please!).

Past Jan 25, no entries. We're sad. This is closing down. But you can still submit work, we'll try to check back often (if we can find it) but I recommend you go, or write your own, threads cause this one's dead. Laterz Alligatorz *Olive says See you soon baboon*
