These can be inspiring, funny or just something that makes you smile :D. Here are some of mine:

Humans are like slinkies. Practically useless and really fun to watch fall down stairs :D

She's my best friend. Break her heart and I'll break your face.

God made us friends because no mother could handle us as sisters.

I smile because you are my sister. I laugh because there is nothing you can do about it.

There's many more but I won't bore you :D

Hi, I'm new

Hi, I'm new to this but I thought that I'd try it.  It's great that people post their writing and get comments from all over.  Does anybody kind of tell a story in their head for days before they write it down?  Adios.

Hey ya'll!  I

Hey ya'll!  I have a question.  I am normally never seen on Inkwell, but I've decided if I want to pursue writing as a possible profession, or livelihood, I need all the help I can get.  And I know I can count on everyone here.  You are all very talented writers, I've found just by reading your regular comments.

Woodlands: Revised Editio

Woodlands: Revised Edition.

After reading lavendershy's somewhat insensitive-yet true-reply to Woodlands, I decided to work on it some more. So, here is the new poem, in full:

When spring begins,

The world comes alive.

Leaves bud and fill, turning a deeper green.

Clear water babbles and laughs

Beneath a turquoise sky.

The flowers dot the world like a million drops

From an artist's rainbow paintbrush.

What do you

What do you think is a good name for an orange monkey? He has v. sharp teeth, and he's a villian. One of the main ones. It's a science fiction story, sort of...the one about the key to the universe that I mentioned in my thread "So I'm..." or whatever it's called. Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts. I might call him Vorang. But I'm really bad at names.

Round Robin!

Round Robin!

She gazed at the fineness of the delicate angelic-looking face, that yet seemed so independent and strong. It seemed as if time itself had stopped. The majesty and beauty had spellbound her. She had known the word beauty, but never understood it that well.

A Poem!!!!&n

A Poem!!!!

I Have

sewing up my fingers

With a needle and some thread

Saying that I am

When I'm not really dead

Falling down the stairs,

Hitting my head

Reading a book

That I've already read

Wishing for tears'

That are gone and shed

Not doing what you told me,

Not doing what you said

Woodlands, my poem.

Woodlands, my poem.

OK, here goes:

In the spring,

Birds sing, bees fly, and all comes alive.

Flowers bloom, sweet scent fills the air.

Leaves bud and fill, turning darker.

The world is filled with color,

The sky is blue, the water is clear,

The flowers dot the world like a million drops

From an artist's rainbow paintbrush.

The sun is pale yellow, the clouds are floaty white, the nights are black and cool and dark and full of life.

The mountains

Writing Question:

Writing Question:

Does anybuggy here listen to music while writing/typing out stories? I do, sometimes. If you do too, what do you listen to? I listen to:

1) Pelleas et Melisande (I had to do some history stuff for my piano exam, and I found that I liked it a lot) by Claude Debussy (I think)

2) Songs from Lady GaGa's new album The Fame Monster Deluxe Version (it has more songs than the original) It contains the song Teeth

3) Evacuate the Dancefloor by Cascada (I like dance music)
