I don't understand

I don't understand what NaNoWriMo is, or all the posts with people saying things like "I have to write 600 more words." Can somone fill me in?

It was a project in November. Participants  aimed to write a whole novel of a certain number of words in just one month. I think the name stands for National Novel-Writing Month.

OK, so I just thought, what if we could write a super-long, funny round robin poem?  So, first line/s:

I wrote this poem, any feedback?

We say the rainbow after the flood

Is more beautiful than the glistening mud

That the stars and the moon that shine clear and bright

I had an idea for continuing The Star Shard. When the magic hairpin
breaks in the lock, a little bit of the glowing dust is breathed in by
a baby girl sleeping in the next room. The baby's parents were killed
in a fire, and she is being taken care of by her only living relative:
her uncle, a guard on the Rake. As she gets older, she realizes she can
speak telepathically with animals. She befriends a half wolf half dog
pup named Pine. He is the offspring of a wolf and the guard dog, Bale.
She soon learns that she can do small magic, so she has to escape so

A New thread created

A New thread created by moi, Holly, but I only have thought of an idea. No actual post until at least 3 people ask to join, then I'll post it. *has confuzzled herself*

Nevermind. SO, here's the thread idea:

Children of Diana Wynne Jones's characters from her books.

(i.e. Sophie and Howl's kid... Cat and Whats-her-name(Gwen's Double?) kids.. etc.)

So tell me what you think.

New role play!

New role play!

It is like a spy academy.

I walked over to my computer to check my e-mail. Once I got into my e-mail I saw there was one from SAI.  What  was SAI? "Probably just an ad," I thought, but opened it anyway.

To the admins...

To the admins...

I have tried to post a few posts a while ago and I have not seen any on the website.  Why?

I don't know what would have happened if they were appropriate for Chatterbox. Try sending them again, Kyra. Just be sure they are respectful and appropriate for all our readers.
