Script Frenzy?

Script Frenzy?

Does anybody here do Script Frenzy in April? I went onto the website and it looks pretty fun. Although if I try it I'll have to do the real thing, not the YWP version, because YWP's only for ages 12 and under.

Ugh, it's midnight

Ugh, it's midnight and I have exactly 800 more words to write. Then I'll be done. My parents don't actually know that I'm awake right now...I told them I'd go to bed at like nine. But I HAVE TO FINISH!!! Argh!

I submitted this

I submitted this poem in a competition and it's moving on to the next level, so I want to find out if a)The judges have very bad taste or b) It's actually good.

Beauty is

Nature's glory has come to pass

Leaves wet from morning dew

Sunsets we know are true

Mist rising from a waterfall

Roses are said to be best of all

The tapping drum of falling rain

Bright colors of a rainbow end the pain

Beauty is

HI Everybuggy,

HI Everybuggy,

I need some advice. I wrote a really good story , and even my mom (she's a writer--she translates too!) and my (generally awsome teacher) liked it. Unbelivedly, it's 150 microsoft office word pages long! I'm thinking about sending it to a publisher. What do you guys think I should do?

Sincerly,

Worldsaga

Since there have

Since there have been so many poetry threads on InkWell I thought I could mention one of my favorite poets.Shel Silverstein!  Who thinks he's awseome?  If you don't know who he is, he's a modern poetry writer that are kind of crude sometimes but hillarious I'll post one of his poems!  I have his book called Falling Up

Snowball

I made myself a snowball

As perfect as could be.

I thought I'd keep it as a pet

And let it sleep with me.

I made ti some pajamas

New thing! Try

New thing! Try it out! okay, here's how it goes. I'm gonna post a story, but you have to chose which ending you'd chose yourself. After ten posts I'll take a tally and whoever has the most, their decision wins. I'll just call it , conclusing debates

I was really

I was really bored, so I decided to type up this poem I wrote in fifth grade. There was  a poet who came to our classroom, and the topic was freedom. It's really strange-ish, so just give me credit that it rhymed and made an eensy bit of sense. :)

Freedom is like a small blue dove,

Caring and full of love

Freedom is like a great big snake,

Fierce with lots at stake.

Freedom is never very far,

like a short trip in the car.

To the freedom I think I'll go,
