So... get started, peeps!

If you have to drop out, that's okay. We'll just poof your character back to their own universe, Or they can die a heroic death, and then they forget about the entire incident, and continue whatever it was they were doing.

Okay, peeps. We're getting ready to drive fast cars. And eat greasy food. And have fun. And learn about our characters, of course. And show them off.

So let's go!

If you have to drop out for whatever reason, we'll just poof your character back to their universe, where they can continue rebelling, fighting, casting spells, fighting against injustice, being the injustice, stealing shadows, protecting dragons, and being adorable.

Old stories!

Old stories!

So... the computer I'm using right now is one I've been using for a while, so obviously I have some stories I wrote a while ago. Here are some things I noticed.

1. I was horrible at making paragraphs. I made them, but I didn't know the proper way, as in the proper dialogue spacing and stuff.

Character Lounge

Character Lounge

For those of you who don't know: In a character lounge, we dump characters from stories we wrote in to one spot and watch them interact with each other.  It's great for learning about your characters.  Anyone up for it?

Location: Back alley in New York City, this will be especially fun for characters who don't even know what electricity is.  >:D  We all use the same location, ftr.

Character: Dyani Ather
Gender: F
Age: 15
Looks:  Long, black hair, green eyes, tall, thin.

THE CURE FOR

THE CURE FOR INSOMNIA: STORYTELLING?

Lately I've had bouts of sleeplessness. But whenever I make up imaginary fantasy stories in my head, I fall asleep within 5 seconds. Which is a pity, because then I have to remember where I left off the next day! ;)

Has this worked for anyone else? Admin?

Yes, I often think of fantasy stories to get my mind off the day's activities and fall asleep!

How many of you have published a story/poem/essay in a publication? Like, a real print magazine? Contest or actually paid for?
