This is one of those times where I have a story that isn't nearly ready for public exposure but I'm bored and it's late so I'm inflicting it on you dear CBers anyway. You may commence with the merrymaking and/or torches and pitchforks, whichever you prefer.

Creature: Sorceress

Appearance: Red curly hair, shoulder lenth; Dark blue eyes;

Clothes: Dark Navy blue T-shirt to match her eyes; Jeans with decorated pockets; Violet Sneakers; Green-blue scarf; Purple-blue-green sweater, decorated with pink flowers.

So I've seen a lot of people in the Letterbox (in Cricket mag) saying they like to write.... and so I was wondering if anybody here did. I love to write, and I'm good at it. I started a literary magazine by and for kids 8-13 called Our Words Magazine. It's different from Cricket, because all kids write it.

Yes, there are a lot of great writers on Chatterbox, bu I'm sorry, Kate, but we aren't allowed to post email addresses or addresses of other Web sites over which we have no control.

Help With Poetry! I want to write poetry, but need some good ideas, HELP! All of my teachers tell me I write really well, but once I tried to start a full length novel, but it didn't turn out. Now I have turned to poetry.

ELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

So. Now I'm not just dragon obsessed. I'm elf obsessed too. And not the Santa's little helpers types of elves. Tolkien elves. Tall elves. Awesome elves. Bow and arrow elves. 

Yeah. So what elves do you like? And do you write stories about them? And do you draw them? Because I kind of really like drawing elves right now too. With huge pointy ears.  And one eye covered by their hair.

Advice for how to survive excess homework?

Hey, everybuggy!  (Many of you probably don't know me; it's been forever since I last posted.)  So, I have a question.  How do you guys rid yourselves of extra writing juices when you have no time to write?  (I know it sounds crazy, but I actually am so swamped with homework that I literally have no time to write!)  I have so many ideas that bounce around in my head, but no time to explore them.  What do you guys do to quiet the urge to write when you can't?
