I'm currently applying to college (so old ikr) and I just realized that I left the last paragraph of my personal statement off every application I've submitted so far (which is like the majority). Yippee! Literally how did this happen I'm going to cry.

Oh, goodness, no. As someone who's still a few years away from applying college, idk how important that is, but...probably very? Hopefully you still said your points very well earlier, and maybe they won't even realize? Just try your best on the next few apps and hope and pray </3

Oh no, that's horrible!! If you think it's really important, maybe you could try reaching out to the colleges and explaining? I don't know if that would impact their impression of you, though, or even if they'll get back---but if you really want it, it's worth a try? But that sucks. Hopefully it doesn't impact anything too much!

Oh gosh, that's the worst!! This has been said, but I think it's worth it to email the colleges so they at least know, some might be forgiving about it!
But, in terms of messing up in the college app process... I'm right there with ya, buddy. I realized I had a grammatically incorrect sentence in an essay for one of my schools, and there was one on my list that I straight up didn't apply to because I was convinced I'd never get in and now I regret it :/
This stuff is awful because... we're just kids! And it's like we have to be PERFECT for colleges when no one really is! Best of luck to you, there's still a lot of colleges w/ later app deadlines <3

Does it make me a bad person that I tell my friend I "can't" call or end a call early because I "have to go" when I'm actually completely free the entire day? It's usually because my social battery is low, and I don't want to tell her that I don't WANT to call because I don't want to hurt her feelings.

I think that if your social battery is low that DOES mean you can't call or have to go.
