I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

As a heads up (sort of copying Celine), I'm sort of busy right now (this week is VBS week at my church) so @Amethyst, Jaybells, and Sempreverde--and probably more people that my brain cannot remember right now because I've been on the computer coding and whatnot for too long (my eyes hurt; so I'm going to take a screen break directly after this)--just in case you were wondering, I'll get around to replying/commenting next week :)

Man. Who knew. I just abandoned my whole---I don't even know what to call it. Wiped out all the characters I've grown so attached to over all these years for my novel. Wiped out things I thought would totally change them. And here I am, I just wrote one hour 25 minutes in the blink of an eye, easy as that, after days of barely squeezing out 45 minutes---actually, most days not squeezing out even that. And this time, the writing was actually decent. And there was actually some depth to the characters. Things weren't forced for once. I literally thought it had only been 20 minutes. And I think I love these characters even more than the ones I've relied on for three, almost four years now. These characters have voices! Their own voices! And their own faces! I can finally see them in my head, they're not just some blurry indistinct shape in the distance that I'm constantly guessing at! I think I'm finally out and I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and make up four hours and smile all the while. Lizards, I'm back in this!! :DD and all it took was finally letting go of that bit of stubbornness that's been holding me back for over half a year...

Also the picture you posted earlier, of Cupcake and Muffin, is so adorable!! And I can't believe how big they've gotten, they're like full-grown cats now...

LIZARDS. I was just lying in bed half-absentmindedly solving a Rubiks cube singing Shura's What's It Gonna Be in like the most platonic way possible and semi-dreading the upcoming school year and I SOLVED IT!!!! I solved the Rubiks cube!!!! Totally on my own!!! For the first time ever!!! Okay I will go dread the school year later now THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!

Thank you @admins :) and okay I have to say I didn't solve it entirely on my own... I took a class on it and my mom filmed it so usually I need to look at the video to get through the last few parts, so when I say "totally on my own", I mean very much not totally on my own, just I have it all memorized now :P
OK, thanks for the explanation. However, you've still shown more determination and patience for solving the cube than I've ever had!

Random tip to avoid the ... titles for threads - It probably appeared because you copy-pasted the contents of the thread! Just simply re-type the title (or the first letter of the title) and it should be fine.
