I was trying to find a video of how to position my hands in ballet (my school offers it as an elective. I can't figure it out), and for some reason a video of a spider came up in the search results??? What does that have to do with ballet??
The Italian tarantella is a folk dance. The name is derived from tarantula. The story is that a person bitten by a tarantula goes wildly into a frenzied dance. It's very fast. I think a tarantula is a kind of spider.
