I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I've been writing a lot of songs lately, and was thinking it's a shame that I don't have a physical, visual way of expressing or sharing it here. Like I know sheet music exists and I can read it pretty well, but it's hard to put my own music into sheet music. Like, I just sing/play and then record it, I don't consciously think about music theory or notes or bpm or anything like that. You know, it's hard to tie art down into a little box that you're supposed to share with the whole world.

Same here! I was thinking of maybe just writing down the letters to play on a piano/whatever instrument?? But then rhythm... so you still need the notes

Oh my gosh I used to do that as a kid (and still kinda do that when im too lazy to try to do a recording of my hand positions) and it was a nightmare because of the lack of rythm... I wonder if by using punctuation/shorthand that method could be refined? It's worth checking out, I guess.

Crying does not take meaning from the tears. If someone is crying more than usual, don't tell them they're being dramatic, ask them why. When they tell you, believe them.

I don't really want to be alone right now. Does anyone want to talk or something? I'm feeling fewer and fewer connections to other people irl, and I don't feel like I have anyone to talk to as much. I am sad and nobody seems interested in talking about things I care about. Also I feel like everyone is tired of me being emotional, like sorry it's so inconvenient to you that I'm sad and anxious, didn't know being sad and anxious was only something I got to do when it worked for you-

I'm so sorry you're feeling sad and anxious, and even more sorry that people are making you feel bad about it! no one should ever have to feel like their emotions are inconveniences. and i'm sorry you're feeling lonely and disconnected from your peers. that sucks :( *hugs if you want them*
i'd be open to talking about music, books, animated TV shows, theater, noveling, or whatever else you'd like, if you'd be interested? we can open a thread on TM if you'd like that?

OOH YOU'RE WATCHING REBELS??? How far into it are you? What's your favorite character? Mine is probably Ezra or Kanan or Hera or Chopper or Sabine. Okay, it's all of them. I loveeee Rebels soo much. I feel like so many look down on it because it's more of a 'kids' show, but it's also the only Star Wars thing to make me genuinely cry. Not to mention one of the coolest lightsaber battles (which I assume you've seen because it's at the end of season 2).

Yessss! I'm pretty far in. I think I'm like two episodes away from the series finale? The episode I just watched, "A World Between Worlds" (season 4 episode 13), was breathtaking and one of my favorite episodes of it. Also kind of a favorite episode of anything in general. I love all the characters, and it's so hard to choose! I think Hera and Sabine might be my favorites, if I had to choose. I like Kallus's character arc as well. Also yes the lightsaber battles are awesome!!
