I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. But we never. Ever. Use it as a volleyball.

I know it's no secret here that I'm obsessed with the 1862 novel Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. But it truly is one of the Novels of All Time. It really said "Prejudices are the real robbers; vices the real murderers" and "Liberation is not deliverance" and "Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't all war fought between men, between brothers?" and "Oppression is the foreigner" and "There comes an hour when protest no longer suffices; after philosophy there must be action" and "Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions" and "Love is the foolishness of men and the wisdom of God" and "Let no one misunderstand our idea; we do not confound what are called 'political opinions' with that grand aspiration after progress with that sublime patriotic, democratic, and human faith" and "The two highest functionaries of the state are the wet nurse and the school teacher" and "We may be indifferent to the death penalty and not declare ourselves either way so long as we have not seen a guillotine with our own eyes" and "Algebra applies to the clouds; the radiance of the star benefits the rose; no thinker would dare to say that the perfume of the hawthorn is useless to the constellations". Anyway yeah I might be a bit obsessed.

I have a huge Core test today and I didn't study like almost at all except for on the train today so I'm, like, half-sure I'm gonna fail this test so some morale would be greatly appreciated.
Also other stuff happened but I kinda need to study b/c my test is second period so I don't have any more time aaaa

you've probably taken test already, so i hope it wasn't too difficult, and that you got some more studying in beforehand. i'm sure you did fine on it, but either way i'm proud of you <3

I feel you, tests are always so stressful. You've probably taken it already, but I hope it went well! And if it didn't, at least it's over now... and I'm here for you if you want to talk about it. I'm sure you did okay, though! Sometimes you do better on tests than you think you will.

Presumably you've taken the test by now - I hope it went well for you! Also: congratulations, you're finished. This was a difficult thing, and no matter if you did well or not so well, you did it. Drink some water and get some sleep; tests are hard and you deserve it.
