I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I'd say it's because if you're selfish, you'll get more power and money in the short term than if you're a good person, unfortunately - but it depends on what you call "winning." Christ, for instance, got crucified, but in the end his message lived on, and I believe that was what he really wanted - I believe Christianity is the most popular religion today, though I could be wrong. Also, over centuries, sometimes the bad things people do come back. For instance, the British created a huge addiction to opium in China just so they could take over and sell their opium - and now Britian and the US are experiencing huge drug problems themselves. If they hadn't been the original drug traffickers, maybe now they wouldn't be drugged >:(
Also, even if the bad guys do win, that can be changed!! It's not fate, and it's not "the way it has to be." We all can do something, fight back, stand up for our principles. If we do, we can change literally everything. Examples: the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Mexican Revolution, the Cuban Revolution, the Christian martyrs in ancient Rome, the American women who demanded that they be allowed to vote, etc. It's not inevitable :)

I know i'm being such a bummer right now but i had to point out the drug-ridden communities and families who are being really harmed by drugs in British and the USA were not the ones who decided to sell it to China.

oh heavens no, I didn't mean anything like that. It's just another added injustice that the descendants of these people are the ones who end up suffering the consequences, and it's not fair. All I meant was that sometimes consequences do happen, even though they end up happening to the wrong people :((((((

soooo i started watching some of the owl house in japanese thinking that would be really fun and useful to improve my language skills but ... i couldnt do it lol
not only could i not understand anything but Luz's voice was so SO high it like grated on my ears
HOWEVER good news is Hunter is still hot in Japanese. Also did you know King says "nya" in Japanese????

so recently i saw a local production of Rent and then watched the musical and it's so good :0 i'm listening to the soundtrack right now and AH I LOVE IT SO MUCH :DDD my favorite songs from it are probably seasons of love, what you own, santa fe and rent but tango:maureen and one song glory are probably close second. it's kind of funny that two of my favorite musicals now have main characters who live in new york and want to leave to go to santa fe but realize that they want to stay in new york because their friends live there (newsies and rent)

Omg yesss!! I just saw Rent recently at a theater and it was sooo good! You should totally watch the movie Tick Tick Boom with Andrew Garfield- it's a movie musical about the guy who wrote Rent, directed by Lin Manuel Miranda if I'm remembering correctly. Also, what's so great about Santa Fe that every main character from a musical wants to go there??
