i ordered ohuhu markers and i'm so excited for them to come in--but i ordered them like, last friday, and they still haven't shipped yet. my luck is sad right now. T0T

Ooh yay I love those markers! I had a skin tone set and I just got a set with more colors :D They're really nice because they're so smooth & good quality but WAY less expensive than Copics.

I've been thinking about this quite a lot recently. So here it is. I love the CB. It's a big part of who I am. At school, I have two friends, both of whom are very different from me and each other, but they're ok. Other than that, nobody at school really gets me. I have my amazing soccer team to "get" that part of me, and my amazing ski people to "get" that side of me, but I wouldn't be complete if nobody "got" the CB side of me. I think it's really cool that I can just come on here and talk with a bunch of supportive, smart kids like me! So what I'm trying to say is thanks, and y'all are amazing. That was kind of an awkward, scattered post, but I think you understand.

Honestly, the CB is such a special place, and that's because of the people here -- there's tons of people with so many different interests and personalities and ways of viewing the world, but we all have something in common and get along and are all so creative and talented and I think that's beautiful. The CB is different from anywhere else on the internet or in the world, and the people on the CB, even if they're no longer active, are the reason for the unique atmosphere. I mean, we've got AEs and sentient CAPTCHAs and ski lodges and picturings and so many other things I've seen nowhere else. and i think that the CB's enviroment also attracts a certain type of like-minded people -- people who are smart and supportive and creative, like you said! I doubt this post made any sense, but yeah, it's just me rambling about why the CB is just so awesome :)

I'm finally getting my ears pierced today!! I was supposed to in middle school but then covid happened- but here we are, three years later. I'm excitedddd~

Yayy congrats! I got my ears pierced last September, and they're still healing :| I think my ears are broken. They usually heal within a couple of months, so I wish your ears luck and speed. I'm very excited to wear dangly earrings though and I've already built up a collection xD

I got my ears pierced when I was 10, but they closed up almost immediately-- now I'm 14 and just got my ears pierced! I LOVEEEE dangly earrings they are so GORGEOUS but I only have a single pair-- they're a bunch of miniature butterflies hanging from my earlobes-- but I can't even WEAR them because I can apparently only wear silver or gold earrings which they are not. I bought the earrings anyway bc I loved them and thought "oh well it'll probably be fine." It was not fine. They hurt and I got an infection and bled all over the place.
