Hi guys!  Sorry if I'm a bit late, but can I join?  I think this is a wonderful idea, and I would love to get involved!  Where are we exactly in the list at the moment?  Who's turn is it to pick, and if they've picked, which book are we reading?  I hope it's not too late to join...

I think a book club would be great! I love to read so I think it would be fun!

You can join, Leaf! I don't think it's ever too late; anyone can really join whenever they want, although if they do it in the middle of a book they'd have to be very fast to catch up quickly enough. It's Cherry's turn to pick (she's 3rd on the list; Kendra, the 2nd, didn't respond, and we had to skip her turn), but she isn't responding... I think I'll have to reply to everything she says, because Olive and I have both each tried on threads that we thought would work, and Cherry didn't say anything. If she still doesn't, we'll have to have the next person do it, I suppose.

 Cherry hasn't responded yet. It's already the 25th. We should probably move onto the next person. (I can alert Mary W. on the RP thread we're participating in, I'll just wait for you guys to agree to go onto the next person, don't want any hard feelings) 

 Leaf: Of course you can join! Right now, we're trying to bring people back to this thread, but basically it's just me, Ima, Kimberly, and I think Vida.

 Vida: You can join too if you want. ;-) (but here's some advice, since there's already a book club thread, I don't really recommend making a new one, but that's just my opinion)  

I think  you should move on to the next person to pick a book. Cherry has been posting on other threads. How about a rule that if you don't pick a book when it's your turn, then the turn automatically goes to the next person after three days. Then the skipped person could  have a later turn. I think the focus should be reading and talking about the books, not spending so much time waiting for someone to pick a book. Get your lists ready soon, so when it's your turn, you'll have a title ready.
