Ummm... I'm pretty sure I'm Melody, not the comment above this one. I didn't go on yesterday at five.  Please don't do that again.

Yes, they're by the same person.  Ballet Shoes and Theater Shoes have ties since they both go to the same school, but Dancing Shoes only has a title similarity.  They're all really good, though!  I also have Skating Shoes.

I'm not Melody, but Dancing Shoes and Ballet Shoes are written by the same person.

I'm reading the Prose Edda, which inspired my idol J.R.R. Tolkien.

Also Moby Dick by Herman Melville.

Anything that John Green or my (almost) girlfriend, who actually isn't a published author but writes amazingly well.

Have you read any other Daniel Pinkwater ones? The Snarkout Boys books and The Neddiad are pretty good.

I love the Snarkout Boys books.  And the Neddiad.  And a lot of his other stuff.

Have you read the sequel (The Yggysey)? Is it any good? I've been considering buying it, but his books aren't availible here in my tardis (a.k.a. India), so I'd have to mail order it from Amazon or something and the shipping would be insanely expensive.

The reason I'm asking is cuz my mom would make me pay for at least half of it :\

@the doctor

Why don't you buy an ebook edition?  I believe it should be a good price online and you can read ebooks without an ereader.  There are apps that let you read ebooks on your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

I prefer paper books. Also the prices for ebooks are pretty much the same as the actual book (if that's what you meant by a good price). But never mind, I found a copy on the Indian equivalent of amazon! And the price is way lower than it would have been on Amazon (probably)! Yay!

I read the Yggyssey, which was not exactly up to par with what I remembered.  I hadn't read The Neddiad in two years, so I probably should read all four in the series in a row.

There are four? What are the last two called?
