Finished Fahrenheit 451.

Now reading Houdini: Master of Illusion by Clinton Cox.  It's a biography of Harry Houdini.

@ Teresa:

I just finished A Tale of Two Cities too! It's my favorite book I've read by Dickens so far.

@BHR

You're making me want to reread the book, lol

You should. It was exciting. I'm currently on the fifth, Shell Game. Not very far though.

*spoiler*

Though, when the Fox attacked, before they said who it was, I feared it was Todd from The Fox and the Hound, and if it was, I was going to cry, for I love Todd.

@BHR

Todd's awesome.  Oh, does this mean you've finished the first book?

*spoiler alert*

My favorite part is when Willa meets Ariel because Willa's my favorite Keeper and Ariel's my favorite Disney character.  I read that part at Easter dinner, and I almost started crying from happiness.  Everyone looked at me like I was crazy

@ Melody:

*spoiler*

Yeah, I've finished up to book 4. I'm currently reading Shell Game. THEY TRY TO POISON FINN?! HOLY COW!!!

Oh I loved when Willa met Ariel! I hope more characters become involved. Like Peter Pan!!! Or Pooh Bear!

*end of spoiler*

People stare at me like I'm crazy to when I'm reading. I laughed so hard once on an air plane when I was reading The School for the Insanely Gifted.

Are you helping to write the final Kingdom Keeper book?

Yeah, I am.  I've written a few things to get into the book, but none of them are really good.  I've also entered a lot of the fanfic chanllenges, and I think my Creating Jezebel one was really good.  I guess we'll see if I win soon.  It's called A Powerful Girl.  My username starts with an r.

I haven't written anything for fanfic, simply cause I haven't been able to really get into the plot ideas. But I have written a couple things for the main chapters. My username starts with an E.

I finished I Am The Messenger, which was really awesome! I highly recommend it. I also finished Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. It was sort of disappointing... I am looking forward to the final book, though. Now I think I'll finish The Fellowship of the Ring.

Having $50 worth of gift cards to our local bookstore and going on vacation next week my mom takes my brother and I to the bookstore and says, "pick out some books."

After my brother picks out one book (The Beyonders: A World Without Heroes) I, having $50 (as previously mentioned) and finding the books in the bookstore that I never can find in the library, buy the following:

Ptolemy's Gate by Jonathan Stroud (I already read the first two)

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (having already read it but not owning it, though I do own Cinder)

Prodigy by Marie Lu (again, having already read it but not owning it, though I do own the first book, Legend.)

Divergent by Veronica Roth (having not read it and, being unable to find it in the library, decided to take the risk of buying it. After all, you can never have too many books. Though anybody who's tried to clean my room lately may disagree.)

The Apprentices by Maile Meloy (having not read it but owning the first book, The Apothecary.)

Hope Was Here by . . . someone . . . *Googles* Joan Bauer, which is my eighth grade summer reading book. (Also, for eighth grade, I have to read a biography. I hate biographies. Suggestions?)

Grand Total: $73.42 or something of the like. A lot of money.

My mother, wisely deciding to support my reading addiction, pays $23.42 or however much is left over from seventy something dollars minus $50.

My mother, deciding she has been too generous, tells me I am not allowed to read the books until we are on vacation.

Me: AAAAAARGGH

So I guess it would be more accurate to say that those are the books I am NOT reading. (Thanks, Mom.)

Book I actually am reading: The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien

Spammy says wdox. Word dox? Word docs. Word documents. Spammy wants me to go write something.

It is Camp NaNoWriMo...

I'm also reading the second Mary Poppins again because I almost never finish it and I didn't feel like reading my other two books.

That last Houdini book I posted about was good, as was the Jim Henson one I posted about.  I also recently went to the bookstore.  I got four books, which you will eventually see on this thread (I'll put book store in parentheses for each one).
