What is everybody reading these days?
What are you...

Finished the Kathy McCulloigh book.  Now reading The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen.  It's a signed copy that I found at Target and was allowed to get as my birthday present from my brother because he wanted to get me LM on BluRay, which apparently isn't out yet.

I'm now reading Pride and Prejudice in a bookclub with my mom.  We've agreed to read a chapter a day.  That was over in about three minutes.

Did you like The House on Mango Street?  We had to do it for school, and the questions we had to answer didn't help at all with making us better human beings.

I finished The Slippery Slope this morning.

I started The Name of The Star by Maureen Johnson today after finishing The Moon and More on a long car ride.

I finished the Name of the Star in the book.  Oh my gosh, Maureen Johnson is a genius.  It's one of my new favorite books.  The end was really... unexpected.

Now I'm reading Another Faust by Daniel and Dina Nayeri.

I really should just start reading more Maureen Johnson.  I've only read 13 Little Blue Envelopes and Let it Snow.

I'm also reading The Second Summer of the Traveling Pants.

I've read Breathe (I really recommend this if you like Divergent), a German book called Silber (eng. silver) and now I'm reading This One Time With Julia, which is sort of weird.

Okay, I just finished reading Eon by.. I can't remember, and I can't wait for the sequel.  Has anyone read the Maximum Ride Series? THEY ARE SOOOOOOO GOOD!  I can't seem to get ahold of Angel but I am definitely trying!  Also earlier in the summer I read all of the Chris D'Lacey series about dragons, I don't remember the name of the series but it starts with The Fire Within.  I also read Book of a thousand days by Shannon Hale and that was also awesome.   Once again, has anyone read Maximum Ride?

I just finished The Children of Húrin, by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is one of his many posthumously published tales in his Middle Earth legendarium and was good despite the air of Greek tragedy that pervades it.
