Having used Houdini as the subject of my biography projects in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, I think I'll try the Jim Henson one.

I did a report on Jim Henson this year.  It was really fun.  Did you know he was a Christian Scientist?

Also, I finished Mary Poppins Comes Back and read all of The Moffats.

I just spent $134.47 at Barnes and Noble on 14 books. I didn't intend to buy so many, but they restocked the manga section and my dad said I could stock up on as many as I wanted.... And this happened.

Finished the Greek mythology book.  Now I'm reading You Look Different in Real Life by Jennifer Castle.  I read an excerpt of it on Figment, and it seems really good.  I'm super excited to read it!

@BHR

Have you written for the latest chapter?

Now I'm reading The Fault in our Stars by John Green.  I'm so excited to be rereading it!  The only thing I'm not happy about is having to take notes every two chapters.

@ Melody:

Yup! I have! Though it was short, and kinda toneless, so I doubt it'll do well. Still trying to think up something to write for the fanfic. Not sure...

I'm also about to read Divergent, after KK. And I want to read The Fault in Our Stars!!!!

@BHR

I'm trying to find you...

I think I found yours.  It was a lot better than some of the stuff on here.  Good job!

@ Melody:

I think I found you too! You write really well!

I'm going to go ahead and try and write a piece for the latest fanfic, If You Were a Fairlie.

We'll see how it goes.

I started a book about epigraphs the other day.

I'm reading Frankenstein. The writer is (well, was; she's dead now) good at keeping me interested but less good at convincing me that it could actually be letters (It started out believable; there were even a couple of spelling/punctuation errors--but then the person writing met Frankenstein and started somehow remembering entire paragraphs of speech, and the only time he said he might be a bit off was when he started to quote an entire Character Filibuster) and that the Character Filibuster was actually dialogue--it includes entire letters, word for word. Letters that Frankenstein didn't seem to be carrying when he got onto the ship. He also talks like a writer, but I don't mind that too much because at least the other characters notice that. It's more convincing than Dracula was, though; that's for sure.

Finished epigraph book, finished Salamandastron, stopped halfway through The Host and not really reading Love's Labour's Lost anymore... just acting.

So I'm not reading anything.  That will probably change within the next half hour.

That book was The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which I finished.  I started City of Ashes yesterday.

I want to be reading Sidekicked.

I saw it at the bookstore today, read the inside flap, and I want to read it so bad it hurts.

It's on hold at the library, but I just put it on hold. My brain has died I want to read that book so badly. It sounds amazing.

I'm going to go cry in a corner now and wish I was reading Sidekicked.
