I think that it won the Newbery Honor, because I have a list of the Newbery Medal winners on my bedroom wall, and I practically have it memorized.

Started Scarlet!

I'm reading Of Posideon right now, but I just went to the library and got six books. So, I'll probably start reading two books at once.
Do any of you go to the library and get a ton and a half of books? I always end up getting over five books at once and return them in a few days to a week. The most I have ever gotten at once was FIFTEEN BOOKS!

@ Gollum:
The Blue Sword won the Newbery Honor, The Hero and the Crown won the Newbery Medal.

I'm not allowed to check out more than eleven at a time. Fortunately, we go to the library often. :)
(Lately, though, I've been reading more books on Kindle and occasionally online. Also, I recently got a lot of new books to keep, so I have all those to read. There are still some specific books I'll want to check out from the library, though, like Wicked).

@ Teresa:
Yes. Although sometimes I return them without reading them because they're overdue. I self diagnosed myself with CLUD (Compulsive Library Usage Disorder). I am a proud sufferer.
@ Elizabeth:
Yeah. I remember that vaguely.
SCARLET IS SO GOOD. I read the most I've read in a very very very long time yesterday.

@ Teresa, the most I have checked out is a lot. I do believe I have something like 17 out right now, not enough time, no more renewals, and about five days left with the books. Which means I've had them for three renewals times three weeks (How many weeks you can have a book out at the public library). So, nine weeks and I STILL have to read the UNWANTEDS. Is it my fault I'm not instantly attached to the book? And SPY CAMP, and TRAITOR'S GATE, and HAVOC, and LARKLIGHT, and MORTAL ENGINES, and THE TRAITOR'S GATE, and CITY OF ORPHANS... the list goes on and on. That's too many, isn't it? Well, I've finished THE PRINCESS KNIGHT. (Oh, yeah, like THAT counts.) And now I'm reading DIVERGENT. And I want to read OUR FAULT IN THE STARS, but I'll wait. I'm also reading CIRCUS GALACITUCS. (Spelled that wrong, didn't I?)
So many books!
(May 26, 2013 - 9:49 am)
I stand corrected. I have 28 books checked out, and 15 requests! I've got to cool it!
(May 27, 2013 - 11:09 am)
By who? So many books called Scarlet I want to read....
Two I can think of:
1) Scarlet, second book in the lunar chronicles.
2) Scarlet, a Robin Hood twist. It looked really good.

I am reading... DIVERGENT right now. It's awesome. I'm already on page 130 and I started it yesterday. I finished reading ROBIN OF SHERWOOD (What a releif!) but it lied to me. So now I'm wondering where I can get authentic information about Robin Hood, where they don't lie to me every other page. I don't know what was real and what wasn't!

Traitor's Gate is good. SO IS THE FAULT IN OUR STARS! I finished Scarlet and am about halfway through Artemis Fowl.
(May 26, 2013 - 6:27 pm)
Finished Artemis Fowl and started Thieves' World.

@theo W.- I love Divergent. It's so awesome and a really fast read. When you're done you should really read the sequel Insurgent, which is almost as good. I read this book called The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lacelyn Green a while ago and I think it was good, although it may not be what you're looking for.
So far I've read City of Ashes (that book makes me really mad because Clary, the protagonist, never does what you want her to and she whines a lot), The Fault in our Stars (best book I've red by John Green until now) and Legen by Marie Lu (it was great but the beginning didn't really grab me like Divergent or The Hunger Games did.
Still trying to finish that Twilight spoof, then starting Uglies.

I read City of Bones and was pretty indifferent about it. Would you recommend City of Ashes?
Spamster in his spamster cage says wizg. Wigz, wizard goblin, what are you trying to say? I should be reading more fantasy?
