What is everybody reading these days?
What are you...

What are you reading?  What book did you just finish?

Everything has gotten confusing since I was sick and took a break from my normal books.  I'm mainly reading Les Miserables right now, and am trying to finish it before a local theatre group does it this summer.

I finished This isn't what it looks like and am now reading You have to stop this. There's another book I started but I forgot the name. :)

The Secret Series is one of my favorites.  Pseudonymous Bosch is so funny.  I felt like such an idiot when I found out the secret.

We started Every Living Thing by Cynthia Rylant in school today as a discussion book.  Nyarsh.

I just finished THE GIRL WHO COULD FLY. I'm reading the first book, WHEN THE TRIPODS CAME, and FARENHEIT 451.

Oh goody! What did you think of The Girl Who Could Fly?

I am currently reading Midnight Rider by Joan Harlow, which, so far, is really good! It's about a girl who becomes an indentured servant to General Gage in 1775.

I loved it. It was great! It was full of SO MANY TWISTS!

Also, I just finished CARDBOARD. It was... strange.

The Lord of the Rings for the third time.

The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. Not bad so far, although a little complicated.

I started Why Knot? by Phillippe Petit today.  It's a book on knots.

I'm reading the spoof of Twilight called Nightlight and City of Ashes. So far Nightlight isn't as funny as I thought it would be... :-)

@Gollum- Does your book show you how to make different knots?

It does.  I made a really pretty necklace out of Multiple Overhand Knots!  I've been wanting to try reading Twilight just to see why everyone hates it so much.

I'm reading The Wednesday Wars now for school.

I just finished The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley and nearly began bawling at the ending. The whole story was much sadder than The Blue Sword; I didn't think that kind of fiction could win the Newbery Medal. Go figure; it was a really good story, though. Has anyone else read it?
