Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

I agree. Like, we should organize things a bit more! It'll help keep it active too--- It won't be as confusing. If you want to post something at the Resistance base, then it's on the Groups thread. If it's not, it's on whatever thread it would have something to do with. For instance, it they were at the Flea Market, it would be on the Kyngdom Thread. If it's at say, Jokull, it would be the A Tale of Two Kyngdoms thread. It you can't find a thread for it, use the Kyngdom Thread, since that's the thread for connecting things. Hope that clears things up a bit!

Yep, I like the idea of organizing. So far we've already been trying to move away from the RP board, and I think it's working.
I do think the RP board has its merits, of course. For our specialty threads, we need it. Perhaps for key Power of Claw/Howl threads--you know, the things that will need to be changed over time--we can use it. But for stationary groups like the Resistance or FAFA or Catastrophe...we could keep those on the Groups and front page. Unless, of course, characters are traveling...it wouldn't look very organized if a Resistance mission was RPed on the Resistance Group thread...
In that case, they might want to RP on the Hornshaw Travel Diaries--since, well, it's a travel diary.

You suggested making the Live Chat thread a planning thread. I like that idea; it’s not going anywhere, so we’ll never have to top it or anything. Of course, the way it’s going now, this thread might up being where we make our plans.

I'm sorry! I was able to post so much on Thanksgiving Break and then boom, I had to stop again. I'm still here, but I'll be back even more on winter break in just a couple of weeks.

Don’t give up just yet. And let’s not make excuses. For me, at least, making excuses makes me feel guilty and that discourages me from coming back. Right now I’m excited! What has everyone been planning? Also, does anyone know if Alexandria is Mina, and/or if either of them are coming back?

I've been planning some stuff!
So I was thinking about that new thread that's on the RP board--the one with the thing worse than Brazen Goo? That's THE PERFECT opportunity to bring Catastrophe back. He could end up stealing the substance without giving away land, and then he gains the extreme advantage in the battle. (Thus bringing us closer to the climax.)
Alexandria isn't Mina--she's Pinkpanther, who has sadly left the CB. I think Ocean was a separate person, who probably knows Mina in real life.

Hey Admins, do you enjoy reading our writing? For instance, do you ever laugh at the funny bits and stuff? Do you like having to proof-read what we submit? If so, what's your favorite type of writing that we Kyngdomfellows have writtem?
Yes, I enjoy reading your writings and I do sometimes laugh out loud to myself! Chatterboxers are so creative, clever, and skilled. I enjoy almost any good writing, but especially Chatterbox ski lodge mysteries and poetry. My mind doesn't categorize comments/submissions by the separate sections such as Kyngdom, Inkwell, etc., because they all come in to the same list and I can't easily tell on which section they will be posted. I can find out, but that takes extra time that I rarely have.
