Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

Yeah! We're having a shortage of Power RPers, so I think that would be great.
Where do you want to RP? Actually, the SAPs have a base back in the Labyrinth Lands. If we wanted to RP them there, then we could go back to the Power of Claw and inhabit a thread there...Which, I don't know if that's the best idea, but I'll keep thinking of threads.

The Resistance: There's no better place to RP a Resistance character than the Resistance's base itself! This is the kind of RP where you just jump right in with your character. Lots and lots of old RPs are on this thread, but don't worry about going through them all. They're quite disjointed.

@Everyone--
Is everybody good if I roleplay Ecio? I just want to make sure. I especially want Claaws to approve this. (Not that anybody's say is worth less than Claaws's!! I value everyone's opinion!!) Since Claaws is currently role-playing the majority of the Powers, I really want to know if it's okay with her. (Also, I think it was Claaws who suggested that others play the Powers.)
@Powers--
I think the Labyrinth Tunnels OMK!... thread would work to roleplay the Powers. The SAPs have a base in the Labyrinth Lands, and besides, this one even talks about Jaaws and Grondor and stuff.

Okay, sounds good! The Powers left off where they were all taken over by Jaaws because of a new type of Brazen Goo plant, and Catastrophe was visiting his old castle with Enyo when Enyo flew out to carry an update to Jaaws and Whist.
The update could've been news on where the Power of Hoof has been heard of, and so the SAPs might want to make an appearance at the flea market.
If they find out where the drum went, they could follow its tracks back up to Jokull or something.
Just an idea--how does that sound?
I also feel like they definitely need to find Sylvia at some point, so we can get to know her foal a little more.

I have questions about brazen goo- is it man(or animal)-made or found naturally? Does anyone know what it's made of? How do its effects vary on different creatures? What does it look like?

So, Brazen Goo is a manmade substance derived from a special sort of flower. It was originally created by Catastrophe, but BIG developed it again later, during their studies of the Powers, and named it after themselves.
Brazen Goo is interesting in that it only affects the Powers. It's like acid to them and is the only thing that can kill them. (Or, that is, send them back into their instrument.)
To any animal that's not the Powers, Brazen Goo has few negative effects. I don't think it does anything to harm them, actually.
As for what it looks like, its color is amber.

Sounds great, Hazel! Also, when a Power is hypnotized by Brazen Goo, do they act normal and just want to follow Jaaws, or are they basically just Jaaws in another body?

I imagine it's like a mix between the two--like, they've been somewhat turned evil, but they automatically have to/want to do whatever she says...and she can inhabit them at will, but she doesn't do it all the time.
Also, I think we ended up deciding that Sylvia could cure them of the Brazen Goo, so that's something to look forwards to.
I'll see if I can get a roleplay post in tomorrow! I'm out of time for now.

Figured I'd ask this on the Q&A thread...
Does anyone know how the Market wrapped up (in summary)? I've been reading through, but I can't find an official conclusion or wrapup.

It didn't really end yet, but it kind of wrapped up after Selena Evadere and the pirates surrendered to Davina and Kimi. The plot continues on the Tale: Two Kyngdoms thread, where Davina and Kimi's carriage crashes near Jokull. They are taken prisoner, along with a thief named Skylar who tried to steal the drum. Raven Shadows and her friends came to Jokull after hearing rumors about the Power of Hoof being there. There's alot of commotion going on there.
