Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

Two questions.
Why do you put up with all of us story-weaving, defending-our-RP-turf, totally chaoticness?
How/why are the Admins and Editors SO FREAKING AWESOME?!
We do it all for the CBers' awesome writing and creativity :)

How come it takes so long for a comment to show up?
It just depends upon when an Admin is available to review it and how many other comments are waiting in the queue. Each comment is reviewed by a realy person, who also has other things to do.

There's a Story So Far thread in the Power of Claw section that covers a lot of that. It's been forever since I tried to summarize anything, though, so I'm afraid I can't be much more help. I'll still try to answer any additional questions you may have.

Hi, I'm new to this website and Kyngdom looks really cool! How would I go about getting involved in it? It looks so complicated an I don't want to mess anything up by accident.

ERMIGERSH @HIC SUNT DRACONES I KNOW WHAT YOUR NAME MEANS!!!!!! Well actually it should be Hoc Dracones Est if you're doing what I think you're doing. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I've only been studying Latin for two years. ;) Hold on... Let me check in my grammer book...

Yes, but if you want it to be "Here be a dragon" then that would be "Hic Est Draco", but if you are a group of dragons (which would be awesome, don't get me wrong) then you are correct. :)

Do you use a textbook for Latin, and if so, which one? Just wondering, you don't have to answer that if you don't feel comfortable. I try not to come across as a stalker. :)

I don't actually study Latin, I just always loved the idea that there were dragons lurking at the edges of maps, so Hic Sunt Dracones kind of became my motto. XD

How does one create a group chat on the Kyngdom Groups main thread?
Admin has to create any live chat. The next one will probably be on Down to Earth or Chirp at Cricket.
