~A frilled shark
Deep in an unknown world, something stirred.
Black against black in the darkness of the deepest depths of the sea.
It was so dark, not even one who could see in night would be able to see the instrument laying in the crevices of the mouth to a cave.
Yet a creature stirred.
This creature seemed to be blind, a haze of white covered their eyes. Yet as it swam closer, it could sense the power this instrument held. It could see a future where this instrument would hold the world in it's talons again.
It swam closer to the instrument. It's gills pulsed in and out, in and out, the strong sense of power growing closer at the second. The future of unlimited power flashed through it's mind, it's vision, and it knew that once it held the instrument in it's jaws, it's whole life would be impacted by it.
It would hold unlimited Power.
~A wolf
The time was near. We knew the time was coming. In our pack, we held a special power, in the form of an instrument.
The Guardian knew the time was coming, as she told. Soon the instrument would be played, in the lone voice of a wolf's howl, and a creature would emerge.
It was right. We knew now the creature inside was no evil. It was meant to fight the darkness that had overcome Kyndom, out forests, our lands.
It was time.
The Power of Howl must be released.
We must fight back to the darkness corrupting our world.
~Sylvia
In the forest, light streamed down into a valley, a small circular valley, peaceful with only crickets humming softly in the grass.
It was a hidden valley. No one of bad intents could get past the barrier of life and brair that protected the creature inside.
The creatures, actually.
Sylvia...and Sylvia's foal.
He had grown fast. Sylvia knew better then anyone else that horses weren't supposed to grow this fast. Yet here he was, Sylvia's foal, a little more then half the size of his mother.
But of course, her mother was not as big as she usually is, and a horn was missing from atop her head. Unlike her beautiful son, with a black horn that matched his hooves and reflected off his silver eyes.
He laughed and chased crickets in the sunbeams. Everything was beautiful. It was peaceful. The only thing Sylvia would ever care about was her son. The Powers didn't exist to her anymore. Her siblings were nothing in the light of a creature so pure.
He jumped into the air, snapping at a cricket, before falling down to his back, laughing. Sylvia smiled.
And then the brair surrounding the valley rustled, whispering slightly in the wind. Sylvia stood up, alarmed. So did her son, flicking his ears back at her. She neighed, stomping her hooves, and he looked back before coming to hide behind her flank, pawing the ground softly.
The whole barrier seemed to shake as a creature pulled itself through the end opposite her. It was a human. With icy-blond hair, strange blue eyes, like chips of ice, and striking white skin.
Sylvia blinked at her for a moment. This girl was all too familiar. "Celesti...?" She whispered in disbelief, taking a shaking step forward. "But...it can't be..."
The girl shook her head. "Sylvia, I am Icy. The descendant of the PowerFriend, your mother...Celesti. I've come to tell you that the Powers are in grave danger. You are in grave danger. They need you."
~Catastrophe
Live was boaring for a boy king. Well, an old boy king.
He was yet to become king of this time, but his council was working on it. They were talking it out. Which Catastrophe thought was stupid. Why couldn't they just take it over with violence? It was faster.
Though he remembered that wasn't how he first earned the rule of Kyndom. He remembered in order to rule, he had to gain the respect of the people.
The boy king sighed.
He reached up to where his bird, the magnificent creature who was drawn to Catastrophe and his power, his hunger for war, was perched. The bird was gazing out the window, as he often did.
"Hello, Enyo. Do you wish to fly today?" He called, brushing his fingers through the large bird's feathers.
The bird looked down at him with his usual 'I'm better then you' expression, before looking back up at the window. Catastrophe smiled, adjusting his position on his uncomfortable throne to look up at the bird. "That was a yes, I presume. No bird in it's right mind would surpass a chance to fly."
He stood up and offered his arm to the large bird, about the size of an overgrown hawk. The bird glanced at him, before stepping onto his arm. His surpiroty almost matched the way Catastrophe felt. Except, Catastrophe really was supiorer to everyone else. He was the only creature who had ever killed both a Sideaffected power and a Power. All of the Powers, actually.
And the only creature who would do it again. And destroy them for good.
He walked the bird to his balconey overlooking all of Kyndom. You could see the decoy forest, the towns around it, the main city of Kyndom, the ocean sparkling on the horizon, and even the Layberanth Tunnles far away.
His castle was hidden on a mountain streatching high over all of Kyndom. He was glad his sight was so keen, or else he wouldn't be able to see his land streaching all around him.
This castle was so well hidden or worshiped (whichever one was fine with him) that in the thousands of years that he had been gone, his castle had stayed up. Now his followers were replacing the old wood and stone, making it as perfect and stronge as it was a thousand years ago.
He opened the door and stepped up onto the balconey. He breathed in the air before lifting up his arm to release his bird.
It flew out into the air, the sun glimmering off of the firey red and yellow colors of the feathers. Of his bird.
His Song of War Bird.
~Whist
I slept in a cloud of mist. But my eyes were alert. Through them I watched Jaaws as a cricket, pirched silently in the cover of leaves. Our argument over the false Power of Howl was still fresh. Through another I watched my own back, so any surprise attacks wouldn't fase me. And through another, I watched the still forms of the Powers, controlled by both me and Jaaws.
I felt a shiver of joy at that. I controled the Powers now. Not Jaaws. Though if we hadn't worked together, neither would be able to control them. I guess that was the only good thing about working with a witch of a dragon.
And then, I saw I sight I haden't seen for a thousand years.
Through an owl watching the sky, I saw a bird the color of fire.
I sat up so suddenly I saw Jaaws head shoot up. "Enyo." I whispered out to the mist. "Enyo is back. Enyo has found us."

Hello Kyndom! Write as any one or all of your charries here. This thread is for making connections with other charries and the rest of Kyndom.
Some quick questions...what is Sylvia's foal's name? I just guessed on what he looked like and acted like.
Also Moonshadow, I hope I got everything about your pack right.
I don't currently know where Catastrophe is, this just seemed the most likley.
This is ment to move the plot foward, I have every right to RP as everyone I just RPed as. Scylla, if you ever come back, I'm sorry if you didn't want that to happen, but it's been a few months of you not responding and the plot must move fowards!

Yea! *Takes a deep breath* In like a tent that no one goes to because they kidnap and abuse people but Whisper didn't know so the people kidnaped her and brought her along with them to the flea market so then we find her and and go on to find the resistance which is hard or we try and find people in the resistance at the flea market but we could get sidetraked with the power of the hoof thing and then there is all that drama but the people who we saved Whiper from are actually following us and then capture us at some point and I'm going to stop because I am running out of air and want to keep the rest of this idea a suprise! *Takes long breathes for a while*
Okay so what do you think?
(August 17, 2018 - 6:28 pm)

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: He travels a lot so everywhere
FRIEND OR MENTOR: Nakai
ENEMY OR RIVAL: Anyone who threatens his freedom, Catastrophe
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: A bracelet that he never takes off, it is a black bracelet with a mountain and three stars above it in a shimmery thread. It was made by Nakai and given to him as a reminder that even in the void(That's the name of the black cloth that seems to absorb all light around it) of hoplessness there is hope(The name of the shimmering white thread). It is magical but Leo does not know this, Nakai does.
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "Live long and die free." (Muttered under his breath)
STRENGTHS: He is very determined and he workd best under pressure.
WEAKNESSES: He hates small spaces and chains of any kind, they send him back to taht horrible time when he didn't know what the wind felt like on his face, what the grass felt like under his feet, what the world was like in general.
BACKGROUND: He used to be a slave for Catastrophe but he escaped with the help of a Illrian soldier named Nakai. After their escape Nakai tought the Leo how to fly, then he tought Leo about the Powers and why they should not fall into Catastrophe's hands. They then found out about the Flea market and wanted to make sure it didn't go to the wrong person so they set out, disguised as a healer and his apprentice selling herbs.
I just got scared because I saw movement in my pereferal vision so I turded around and I saw my purple stuffed llamacorn. Staring into my soul so yeah.

Welcome to Kyngdom, Darkking!
Kimi~ (on the way to Mer)
We sleep under the stars that night. I try to get a little rest, but the nocturnal side of me insists I do a little tree-climbing before I settle down. But eventually I feel tired enough to doze off on a wide bough.
When morning comes Davina and I begin our trek once more. We know we're getting close when we pass by a few more posters for the flea market, and other travelers become a bit more frequent to spot.
At some point along the trip we notice the weather change from crisp, windy fall to something more humid and slightly warmer.
"We must be going the right way," I declare.
"I would hope we're going the right way," Davina replies, "since you were so insistent about your sense of direction."
"Oh. Well don't worry about that," I assure her.
(August 23, 2018 - 7:56 am)
Selena~ (at the flea market)
The crowd is almost as unpredictable as the ocean. It has its own currents and everything, which are very difficult to get through.
"Ugh. Tourists," I mutter. They don't know to get out of our way. Some of the natives do recognize me and hurry to get out of my path, but they barely make a dent in this crowd.
As Darya, Arroyo, and I continue to push our way out of the port area, we spot a few Mer guards* standing around the edges, directing people to the general direction of the flea market. Hm. We'll need to steer clear of them.
Soon enough we arrive at the market and begin to search for our reserved booth. Some folks have already started selling their wares and they're trying to advertise over the chatter of the shoppers.
"Wait, do you hear that?" Arroyo asks, cocking her ear.
Darya and I stop to listen and we hear a different kind of shouting...combined with the yowling of animals? "Sounds like a fight," Darya murmurs.
"Ah. Exciting."
Darya stares at me. "No, we are not going over there. Come on, we have to get our booth before someone decides to borrow it."
When we do get to our booth, someone has already decided to borrow it for auctioning off their poultry. We scare the guy off, but he leaves the birds.
"Oh. Free chickens. Wonderful. I guess we'll sell these too, then."
(August 23, 2018 - 8:15 am)
Davina~~
The climate grew warmer and more...tropical. Not quite jungle, not really, but warm and humid and sunny.
I disliked it greatly. I preferred the north, where is was crisper, windier and much, much colder. The heat was distracting and itchy and made you sweat and get thirsty.
There was more travelers now, and many were clutching the flea market advertisement. It was fascinating to watch all of them. Some wore long scarves, others tall boots. Some wore golden earrings studded with diamonds, others wore rusted metal nose rings. It was crazy.
"Oh, I think we're herw!" Kimi exclaimed . Guards led travelers intp the cith and to the market, trying to herd the noisy, diverse, unpredictable crowd.
Kimi and I slipped down a side street, and then walked out to the most crowded booth ever. It seemed everybody wanted a look at it. People shoved and pushed each other. Fights broke out. People were yellimg, "I can pay 300!" " I can pay 500! " "800!" " give me my money back! " "I'll pay 1000!" And so on.
I grabbed Kimi's arm in a death grip and literally shoved people to the ground to get a look. A pirate --or, at least, I was fairly certain it was a pirate -- had what everybody was here for.
She had the Power of Hoof.
