Sybill's Home~
Here, you'll see a cave with grass and trees growing on its roof. Some roots dangle in front of the entrance. You can see the flickers of a small fire deeper into the cave, and there are voices coming from in the cave.
All around, as far as anyone can see, are woods. It's actually quite pretty. Not to far away from the cave is a small pond that glitters.

Nice art! Eventually I will make more art.
Soon, probably.
Sybill~
"How fare your ribs?" Rose asks. I think for a moment before replying.
"They feel better. Aching, though." The answer is true.
I lie down beside Rose and watch the confused Thunderbird.
It's peaceful, of which I am grateful for. The peace will be good for healing.
After a while Yin walks out. She walks slowly and carefully.
"Hello." I say.
Yin pauses.
"Honey. Don't forget the honey," She mutters to herself. Honey?
Then I realize. Honey is very good. Honey helps another side throats, which would be very nice after all that smoke inhalation from the fire.
Yin nods respectfully to me. Her eyes are staring blankly waaaaay above my head.
"This is Rose," I say, standing up and directing her in front of Rose.

More art.

I am working on more art, but here is some on Sybill

Rose~
Sybill considers. "They feel better. Aching, though."
I half smile. Sybill settles down beside me, watching the thunderbird as well. The woods breathe all around. My stomach is starting to wake up.
Another wolf exits the den. Their eyes are pale and unseeing, and they mutter something as they walk.
"Hello," Sybill says.
Yin stops, still murmuring, and looks in my direction. Sybill rises and guides her towards me.
"This is Rose. Rose, this is Yin."
"Good morning."
"And a good morning to you, too," Yin responds pleasantly. "Now, I'll expect you want something to eat, and Sybill, we should treat your ribs today." She takes a step forward. "You are burned, we'll have to fix that, too."
I nod. "Yes, thank you very much."
~Let's see, broken ribs don't require much if they're only fractured, as they're still in place and won't move around if you rest well. The main danger is breaking them all the way, which could result in a punctured lung and/or pneumonia. Therapy is mostly pain management and breathing stuff.

Yin ~
I carefully walk in the direction Sybill guides me. I step on a sharp rock, but I fight back the wince.
"This is Rose. Rose, this is Yin."
I wonder what Rose looks like.
"Good morning." Rose says.
And so on.
I take Sybill and Rose to my room. The comforting scent of herbs greets me. I wonder what Rose looks like when she sees my room.
I feel Sybill brush past me. I look around.
I move forward carefully. "Alright. I've never really treated burns before, but I have heard how to."
I know aloe speeds up the healing of burns, which is good for both Rose and Sybill.
Using my sense of smell only, I find the aloe gel I made not too long ago.
"Alright. Rose sit down close to me." I hear her shuffle forwards and sit down. I carefully dab some of the gel onto her burns. " Sybill? " I ask.
Sybill moves closer. I put the aloe onto her burns.
"Sybill, we will treat your ribs later," I tell her, " Now go show Rose around the woods. " I listen as they leave and sign after their footsteps fade away.
~I had to look up plants that healed burns. Also I've been working on some Yin and Sybill art.

I wait for an opportune moment when Yin leaves to get something she forgot. That leaves Karune looking at the sky, the trees, the nature.
Sitting on the tree stump, I sniff and Karune whips around.
“Lilly! What’re you doing here?”
”I’m a figment of your imagination,” I joke.
She smiles before sitting beside me.
“How long have you been here?” I ask.
She raises an eyebrow. “You know.”
”I do,” I admit.
Silence.
“It’s been hard without you here,” she states quietly.
“It’s been hard not being here,” I reply.
“How are you here anyway?” Karune asks.
“I appear at the most vital times.”
Karune scoffs. “Everything’s somewhat peaceful. How is it vital?”
I exhale and turn to her, as our similar brown eyes meet. “Karune. You need to help the Resistance-“ At that, she shrugs and turns back. “Really Karune. They could use your help, your skills! They need help right now, more brains-“
”No,” she says shortly. “I left that behind a long time ago.”
”Oh seriously Karune! You’re so stubborn that you quit helping them because I died!”
”That’s not true!” she snaps back. “That-that’s not-“
”It is. And you know it.”
My eyes soften along with my tone as I hover my hands above hers. “Please Karune.”
She looks up, her eyes in tears.
“For me?”
I wish to embrace her, but before I can stop it, I feel myself fade away.
(January 11, 2018 - 8:17 pm)
...You're not trying to seduce Rose/Karune back to the side of good, are you? *narrows eyes suspiciously*
Rose~
Yin leads Sybill and I to a small branch of the den stacked with herbs and remedies. These and the pile of bedding in one corner indicate that it is Yin's personal chamber. The light is dim, and I squint to make out the shapes of wolves and walls.
"All right. I've never really treated burns before, but I have heard how to."
She hasn't an understanding of what she's doing. Wonderful. I shoot Sybill a look, but she doesn't seem to notice.
"Alright, Rose, sit down close to me." I move forward with some reluctance, and Yin scoops some strange-smelling goop out of a jar. My burns complain about it, but I am surprised by the delicacy of her touch and the beautiful cool feeling that spreads over me.
"Sybill?" Yin asks. Her sister moves forward, and she repeats the procedure.
"Sybill, we will treat your ribs later. Now go show Rose around the woods."
I rise, and Sybill shows me out. We go to the pond and to various clearings before she leaves me for a moment, and Lilly appears.
I jump at her sniff. She stands on the forest floor in a low-hemmed pink dress as if she were alive, not even translucent.
"Lilly! What are you doing here?" The words leap from my mouth before I can think on them.
"I'm a figment of your imagination," she responds, smiling. I can't help but smile in return.
"How long have you been here?" my little sister asks me.
"You know." Doesn't she? She's a ghost, and she's been watching me.
"I do," she confesses.
There is a pause.
"I missed you."
"It's been hard not being here," she allows.
"How are you here, anyway?" I inquire.
"I appear at the most vital times," she declares.
I can't hold in a scoff. "Everything is peaceful. How is now vital?"
She sighs. "Karune, you need to help the Resistance--" I turn away. "Really, Karune. They need your help, their skills! They need help right now, more brains--"
"No! I left that behind long ago." I can't believe she's telling me to help them, from beyond the grave, using her limited time here to ask me to support the organization whose negligence killed her.
"Oh, seriously, Karune! You're so stubborn that you quit helping them because I died!" She speaks as though it is a small thing, her death at the lack of their hands.
"That's not true," I insist weakly, but with fire. 'Tha--that's not..."
"It is," Lilly asserts. "And you know it."
I crumble.
"Please, Karune," she whispers. I can't help but look up.
"For me?"
I lean through her and she is gone.

Sybill ~
I walk back to the clearing. Rose is suddenly distraught.
"There's something you won't tell," I say to her.
" No. " I can tell Rose is lying.
The hurt on my inside shows on my face.
"Rose...I want to help."
Rose looks away.
I don't know what to do.
~I wasn't really sure what to type. So my part is kinda short.
(January 12, 2018 - 2:29 pm)
Rose~
Sybill returns.
"There's something you won't tell," she says.
"No." Yes.
Sybill looks betrayed. "Rose... I want to help."
I look away, take a breath.
"It's..." I falter. "It is naught. A ghost of the past. I am fine."
Sybill doesn't believe me.
~Same.
(January 12, 2018 - 9:30 pm)
Sybill ~
A 'ghost of the past', she says.
'it's naught,' she says.
And I can't believe how many ragged holes in the inside I have.
"Trust...," I falter, " Trust goes both ways, Rose. "
Rose bites her lip.
I run.
I can't take it anymore, my 'friend' not even trusting me enough to tell me that s she's uncomfortable.
And I'm not turning back, because the one thing I tried to protect is gone.
Then Yin blocks me.
"Sybill!" She growls and roughly turns me around with a shove, " That's enough! No more feeling sorry for yourself. You go back to Rose. I am not going to let you think Rose doesn't trust you! "
Yin practically yells at me.
Eventually we make it back to Rose. Yin ever so quietly steps into the trees and vanishes.
I take a new tactic.
"Rose, I know it's personal. But I heard you talking with someone else, someone I didn't recognize."
" What's going on? " I say, gently.
And she turns back towards me.
~actually thought of something to type!
(January 13, 2018 - 8:56 am)
Art will be coming soon, too.
And I'm thinking of creating a dragonish charrie? I'm not sure yet, but I have some ideas of how he will look.
(January 13, 2018 - 9:00 am)
Ahh, cute!
(January 13, 2018 - 12:31 pm)
Art!
(January 13, 2018 - 9:39 am)
Pretty!
(January 13, 2018 - 12:33 pm)
Rose~
"Trust... trust goes both ways, Rose."
I hesitate, taken aback. Sybill doesn't stand for it. I rise as if to follow, a hand out as though to call her back, but I do not. Lilly has made my guts a nest of worms, and my voice catches in it.
I am defeated. I'd thought us friends after yesterday. Perhaps that was why she ran; because she thought the same. Is this the kind of ghost that one shares all of with a friend? But I dare not tell her. I cannot speak of Karune's sister. Can I?
I ponder and twist in the gold-green glade, pace, sit, staring at nothing. Now I hear her, or maybe it's Yin, coming back over the early autumn leaves.
"Rose, I know it's personal. But I heard you talking with someone else, someone I didn't recognize. What's going on?"
I look back towards Sybill. She is solemn and earnest. My will checks its thrashing to a sway.
"It's a ghost."
"You said that!" Sybill says, trying not to burst.
"I know," I continue hurriedly, "but it is. It is literally a ghost. My dead--" I catch myself. Sybill watches me now with interest and surprise. When I do not resume speaking, she does.
"Go on...?"
I clench my fists. "This is the difficult bit."
She nods, and I gather my phrases. "I have--had--a sister. She was the center of my days, and near the only care I had in the world. We attended a party not long ago, and she--e--" I pause, regain normal breath. "She died."
Sybill looks at me wide-eyed.
~Eeeee, Rosie's opening up! She would never if she hadn't been through the previous day as it went, or if Sybill hadn't reacted so strongly earlier. This may never happen again.
