Hello, it's me
Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board
Hello, it's me
Hello, it's me again!
This is my first thread, and it's going to focus on my charrie Lycaella, her mom and her friend Nygrune. It's for following our adventures while we're not in a place or situation covered by another thread. 'We' because Ronan has asked to be Nygrune, to which of course I said yes.
Someone (I think Icy) said that B.I.G. and Catstrophe actually dislike each other. It makes sense, so... Just to let you know.
I'll begin where I left off on the Underwater Ball thread, with Lycaella and Nygrune planning to do some spying of a sort. They've asked Lycaella's mom to show them her notes, so I'll fast-forward to that.
Lycaella~
"Oh, so you're giving them their shadows back?"
We are sitting on a rug in my mom's room, reading her notes. I can't make sense of half the words, but she tells Nygrune and I what it means. Apparently, Catastrophe has found a way to separate shadows from their owners' bodies, and to keep him from creating a shadow army and destroying everything, B.I.G. has been researching it. They've managed to figure out how he did it, and are testing ways to reattach the shadows to their owners.
"Well, that's one way of putting it," my mom says. "We believe it will be beneficial to all of Kyngdom."
"I don't really understand this one... How would they sew them back on?" I ask.
"I believe it's with a special sort of thread, Ella," Mom says. "Let's see now..."
Nygrune finds it first. "A needle made from the bone of a magic or mythical being, preferably with thread also made from a magical material."
"Yes," my mom says, "Although personally I think that a binding spell shows more promise." I raise an eyebrow. She doesn't usually like magic this much. Out of nowhere, I yawn. Mom and Nygrune look at me like I'm disrupting something.
"Sorry," I say. "I'm getting kind of tired. You two can keep reading, I don't mind."
My mom nods. I hear her calling after me as I leave the room.
"Remember to brush your teeth!"
~End RP.
It actually is getting kind of late, so I should go. I hope this works out.

Lycaella~
I don't realize I've fallen asleep until the alarms wake me up. I tumble
out of bed, knocking my sketchbook to the floor, and wince as I cover
my ears. The alarms are really loud.
For a second, I have no idea where I am. My house doesn't have alarms,
but wait, I'm not in my house. I'm not in an inn or a tent, either--and
then I remember this is one of the Resistance base facilities. Putting
my sketchbook on a table, I walk across my room and try to open the
door, but it's locked. Apparently I'm not trusted. I gingerly remove my
hand from my left ear to press it against the dark wood, listening to
whatever's going on in the hallway. It seems I'm not the only one who's
just woken up, nor am I alone in wondering what's going on.
The alarms stop soon enough, but I stay with my ear to the door. I don't
hear much, and what I do hear isn't very helpful. Someone passing by a
bit later says something about prisoners, though. I tuck the word away
in my mind for later. I remain in the same place long after everyone has
gone back to bed, comfortable in the darkness against the flat surface
grown warm.

I believe in the power of Post-its!
I wonder if that would be more dramatic in all caps?
I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF POST-ITS!
Kinda just looks like I'm shouting. I guess not. I do believe in the power of Post-its, though.

I wonder why the recent RPs are formatted like that... Maybe if I try reposting them? First test will be here and now with my most recent one.

You know, I saw the title of the thread this time it came to me why it looked so familiar....Hello. It's me. Wondering how you've been after all these years away. *skipping some..." HELLO FROM THE OTHER SI-IDE! MUST'VE CALLED A THOUSAND TI-IMES!.... Sorry. Just had to ;) Keep it up! Story looks great! (alright you caught me I haven't read through it yet) But, maybe I can aftr finals! WHich reminds me....*groans* yay, Civics Paper! Oh, and I did get that English paper turned in on time. ;) I see that you posted on my thread, I won't be able to read it untill tomarrow, once I do I'll edit it again and post it again! :D You've been a great help, thanks so much! I tried writing a dragon story called 'A Dragon's View', but it failed missarably. I might rewrite it again because it took me 5 years to come up with the compleat characture discriptions and personalls and the plot...wow five years. If you look back at the first verson i wrote in 5th grade, wow. Progress! I actually really love that story. Maybe once I'm done with the current one I'll get back to work on the old one. ;)
(December 20, 2016 - 8:34 pm)
Oh gosh.
What have I done?
THE NAME OF MY THREAD IS THE FIRST PART OF A SONG I DON'T HAPPEN TO LIKE VERY MUCH.
Thank you, though! I'm glad you enjoy my stories and that I could be of some use, and I would love to help you with 'A Dragon's View' if you want. Five years is a lot... wait... You're in tenth grade?
...
Would you like me to tell you about my school stuff? It would include what grade I'm in, thereby revealing the great secret of my approximate age.
(December 21, 2016 - 8:18 pm)
Ha, LOL. I really hate that song too, all my friends WERE OBSESSED WITH IT for like, 4 months. It was torture that last month. *shudders* Anyway, no I'm in ninth grade, so I think I actually started maybe the end of fourth grade or begining of fith. AND YES I WOULD LOVE ADVCE ON HIGH SCHOOL, like seriously though. Comming from a stupid Catastrophic private school that tought me NOTHING, it was a struggle. Especailly having to learn Algebra 1, Geomatry, and Algebra 2 in the same year. Like, we didn't even have to show up to pass a class there. The boys would go off and..well..I live in Colorado so you could probably put the peicies together without me actually saying it. The Admins wouldn't let me anything about it anyway. But did you know Arazona actually turned down the request to legalize it? Living in Colorado...Arizona sounds like the place to be. Speaking of that...neighbors. Gotta hate them. ;)
Anywho, any advice would be great! ANd I'm gonna take a guess on your age. 18! No just kidding. Maybe 15 or 16? Are you in 10th grade? Or am I way off and you're goning to be in like, 5th grade. Man, if that was the case I would laugh so hard I think I would cry.
Oh wow! It feels SO GOOD to finally be done with Finals! Wow, no homework, no book I have to read over break, this is GREAT! I feel free! I can do whatever I want without my parents nagging about my grades! SPeeking of which...it was a struggle...but I think I did okay. Coming from a private school where you didn't even have to show up to pass. *rolls eyes* Man I hate that school. And the people there. No, my best friend goes there. Maybe just some of the people? Oh, man, did I tell you about that fight I had with that girl? I think I spoke of it before when I got in a fight with someone and I thought it was that girl coming back for revenge. *shudders* That school WAS NOT a good experaince.
ANyway, on a happeir note, FINALS IS OVER! *throws confeti* *hoasts dance party* *wakes up the next day* I am SO happy, I could maybe actually hoast a dance party, no joke. My dad didn't murder me about my grades! This is like, a serious accomplishment.
*Looks back at post* Don't judge, I had a lot to say. Or did I? Haha, sorry just super full of energy. I takled my friend and knocked her over when the ball rang today. *grins sheepishly* That was great. Laughing so hard our faces turned red.
ALright, I'll end the post now.
Just going on...and on....
You're not heping Naax. ACtually, you're making the post longer. This is Naax, my AE-

Okay... Um... Well... XD I'm so weird.
You weren't far off. I'm 14, in 9th grade at a democratic semi-private school. So I don't really have any advice on high school. Except that you should always get everything you can done as soon as possible. But you probably knew that. Agh I need to go again, sorry bye!
(December 22, 2016 - 3:30 pm)
XD You aren't nearly as weird as I am! *lifts chin prowdly*
Oh, so that's cool! We're like, the same age! That's awesome! *gasps* what if we're friends in real life and we didn'r realize? Or maybe ARCH ENEMYS! Alright, I can sense your judgewaves already. XD But wouldn't that be ironic?
SO we're also both Freshmen then? How was Finals? Did you even have finals? *stares off into space* Man, I wish I didn't have finals. But you know, gets you prepaired for collage. Woope. *says last part sarcaticly*
(December 22, 2016 - 5:50 pm)
I've considered the possibility that I know someone from Kyngdom irl many times. It doesn't seem very likely, but it would be incredible. I don't have any archenemies that I know of, so you probably don't have to worry about that. It would be very ironic, though. XD
I'm a freshman, so if you're a freshman, then yes, we're both freshmen! I don't have finals, though. (smirks, regrets it) They sound terrifying. I had to take some sort of regional exam or something back in sixth grade, but seventh was when I switched over to my current school, so I don't think I've ever had them. (laughs) I imagine I'll take finals eventually, in college or whatever. Being in school can be okay. It's kind of fun having a captive audience and being in a learning enviroment, even if it is sometimes against your will.
My mom said her advice for high school is to push through it, no matter how hard it may seem, and then later everything will be easy in comparison.
Oh! I just had an idea. We can't share stuff like where we live or our contact info, but we could arrange to meet somewhere other than our house, like a convention or a random shop. Is that a good idea? I would love to meet you and everyone else...
I'm sorry, but we aren't allowed to post specific details about meeting in person.

Ya, that would be cool! To bad the admins won't let us. Can we post an email, Admins?
Maybe we could meet on a different sight and talk about stuff there? Do you know any other writing sights? Ive seen people talk about NaNo, but I have no clue what that is. ;) Do you feal okay with telling me what state your in? If its Colorado, I would laugh so hard. You know, something that I cant belive is that some people have never seen snow! I have snow um....*counts in head* 9.....10...11....12.... Months of the year, or Somewhere around there. It varies. It even snowed on the fourth of july, then my Bday one year! And my Bday is in the middle of summer! Sometimes i wished i livedin Pheonix next to my Grandma. I go and see her every year for 1 week to a month over the summer. I love pheonix soooo much. THEY HAVE DUST STORMS INSTEAD OF BLIZZARDS! And its always at least a hundred degrees! I had to wear a sweatshirt because the air conditioning is always so cold inside. XD Do you have any pets? Im asking this because i am currently looking at my dog through the window....in a snow storm. I have a siberain husky, with ice blue eyes. She's so pretty, Ill have to take a picture of her when i have a camra on me. Ill show you it once i get a good one. ;)
Alright, I think thats all I have to say....for now. *insert evil emogi* You should come do Inkwell! I need a few more people to join my current RPs, 32 days... 4th attempt of Spirit Animals... XD its like Kyngdom, but a bunch of little RPs instead of one big one. There may still be some dramma....but i think its mostly all in Chirp at Cricket and Down to Earth.
Alright...now thats all I have to say. That would be awsome if we actually knew each other in real life. XD
No, I'm sorry. We don't post email addresses.

I don't really know any other writing sites, no... I have a D&D blog, though. It's really my dad's, but I think I might be an admin on it? It's new. I'll post a link if I can find it. I think NaNoWriMo is a writing blog, but I've never been on it.
I live in New York, and I have two cats. Do you really get snow in the middle of summer? I guess I might if I was farther north, but I don't, so... Phoenix sounds nice, except for the heat. I just can't heat. Any temperature above 80 degrees Fahrenheit is death. But maybe it's just the humidity... I've heard it's really dry in Arizona. And the dust storms sound amazing! What color are they? ...Weird question...
I'll be sure to visit the Inkwell when Kyngdom is over. I would now, but then I would really have too much to do. XD It would be amazing if we could meet each other. Now, to find that link...
(December 23, 2016 - 6:37 pm)
I have to agree with you, Arizona is pretty awesome. Even if there is no snow. Actually that's not true. It does snow in the north, and even sometimes in the south
(December 23, 2016 - 3:56 pm)
Found it! That was fast...
(December 23, 2016 - 6:43 pm)
The link didnt post. Admins, did you cancel it? [We don't post links to other sites because their content is beyond our control. Admin]
Welp, dust storms are certainly not white! Their like a brownish color. They're better then blizzards, thats for sure. And no ice! Ice gets scary sometimes. Especailly when a truck decided not to put chains on their tires....And strange thing, I can actually stand more heat then cold. You would think different from someone who grew up in negitive degree weather. XD I actually had a sweatshirt on in 101 degree weather in Arizona. XD
New York city. Well that's a grand place to live! Have you been to the Trump tower? XD I went over the summer with my dance team, and we went up the empire state building, and saw the Rockettes! We also had a dance class with a Rockette...and a guy from Hamilton! I got his signature and gave it to my Bro for his BDay.
What's NY like? I heard its split up, like Queens, Manhattan, etc. what part do you live? Do you have a tiny apartment or a huge house? What's it like living in the big city? Ak! So many questions! Alright, one last question. Are tourists annoying? They sure are here! Like, they'll just drive around in circles for ages...drive super slow when it's barely even snowing, or super fast in a blizzard. We have this thing where we make fun of Texans, because Texas is like the polar opposite in breck and most of them have never seen snow (take no offence to this if you are from Texas!) and like, half or more of our tourists are Texan! One time on the slope *realizes most people don't know slang words for skiing* um....ski...mountain.... there was a couple from Texas. How did I know this? They were wearing TSHIRTS and those huge cowboy hats! I was all like...*facepalm* it was great. They were shivvering and were very confused. XD next time come prepared! But...I couldn't say that I've never skied in a tshirt. It was a dare. Worst dare of my life. I did like, one run and had to go and sit in front of the fireplace (my only heat source in this cold house) for hours! Oh, and another time a couple from Texas were asking where the snow castle was. We have a snow castle at the top of each mountain for the little kids. So I told them it was right there....literally. We were standing in front of it! And the other person asked another poor girl about my age, and she said the same thing! So that person told me this, and I was nodding slowly....as I looked at the snow castle behind them. XD
Has anyone ever gone skiing? Oh, it's great! It's like surfing but so much better (but colder) I have so many knarly ski stories, but if I posed all of them this would be like...a year long! I'll share one though, of how my bff broke her collar bone snowbording! It was the end of the day, and we were going super fast over a sheet of ice. I cleared it, and stopped by the gondala to wait for her. But she was halfway down, and then fell. It was a knarley fall, she rolled all the way down to us! She said we were fine, and we went to my house for my Brothers BDay party. (Keep in mind we were 8 at the time)
so she stayed the night, and the next day was my brother's party. Our other best friend, a guy, was there also and it was a star wars themed party. (I actually have a picture of us all eating cake...its so adorable!) we were fine, untill she went off to use the rest room. After awhile my mom went to check on her and she was silently crying in the mud room just outside the bathroom. My mom asked if she was okay, and wanted to go home, but she wanted to stay. So she let her stay...but it got worse and she finally called her parents who took her home. And she said that she didn't tell sooner that it hurt because she wanted to stay for the party! So they went and got her xrayed, and it turns out she broke her collar bone! XD Colorado kids....can withstand pain as much as they can withstand the cold. XD
wow, that was a long post. So many stories. If you want to hear anymore, or have any stories, I'd love to here them! But that one story was the highlight of my childhood. XD
Alright, Ill end the comment now. Happy holidays everyone! Talk to you again on Monday!
I've gone skiing, downhill when I lived in New York and Vermont, but now I only go cross-country skiing, which is fun, beautiful, and relaxing, not as scary as downhill, where it's easy to go out of control. I've never been injured skiing.

It seems the rules that the admins have are designed to keep anyone from finding us, which is good because privacy, but bad because we want to contact each other in some way other than posting here and can't as a result of them.
That was a long post of yours, but a nice one, too. I don't live in NYC, though. I live in a tiny suburb near it. If you go to the waterfront (neighboring towns border the Hudson River), you can probably see the city, but it's far enough away that we don't get tourists or pollution. I don't know what the Trump Tower is, so I don't think I've been there, but the city is indeed split up into parts that include Queens and Manhattan. The Bronx is another, but I don't know the rest. I kind of wish I lived there so I could answer all of your questions, but I don't, so... I've been there a few times. It's really loud and it doesn't smell great, but parts of it can be pretty. I generally don't like cities, though, and it's no exception.
I've never been skiing, but those Texans... I guess maybe it's almost reasonable that they would do things like that if they've never seen snow, but surely they've heard about it! Is anyone here from Texas? Can you explain any of this?
Your stories are better than mine... By the way, what's a mud room? We don't have those here, or at least I've never heard of one.
My best story would probably be one of my train adventures (missing my stop, delays, accidents, that one time a wasp got caught in my hair on the platform, etc.). Although I was nocturnal for about a month last summer, and school can be interesting. I would love to hear more of yours, though!
A mud room is a back or side entryroom on a house, where people arriving with muddy feet can leave their boots. There are usually hooks for hanging coats, and maybe storage room for sports equipment. Basically the entryway for messy people!
