Kyngdom Survival Guide

Hello, it's me

Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

Hello, it's me

Hello, it's me again!

This is my first thread, and it's going to focus on my charrie Lycaella, her mom and her friend Nygrune. It's for following our adventures while we're not in a place or situation covered by another thread. 'We' because Ronan has asked to be Nygrune, to which of course I said yes.

Someone (I think Icy) said that B.I.G. and Catstrophe actually dislike each other. It makes sense, so... Just to let you know.

I'll begin where I left off on the Underwater Ball thread, with Lycaella and Nygrune planning to do some spying of a sort. They've asked Lycaella's mom to show them her notes, so I'll fast-forward to that.

Lycaella~

"Oh, so you're giving them their shadows back?"

We are sitting on a rug in my mom's room, reading her notes. I can't make sense of half the words, but she tells Nygrune and I what it means. Apparently, Catastrophe has found a way to separate shadows from their owners' bodies, and to keep him from creating a shadow army and destroying everything, B.I.G. has been researching it. They've managed to figure out how he did it, and are testing ways to reattach the shadows to their owners.

"Well, that's one way of putting it," my mom says. "We believe it will be beneficial to all of Kyngdom."

"I don't really understand this one... How would they sew them back on?" I ask.

"I believe it's with a special sort of thread, Ella," Mom says. "Let's see now..."

Nygrune finds it first. "A needle made from the bone of a magic or mythical being, preferably with thread also made from a magical material."

"Yes," my mom says, "Although personally I think that a binding spell shows more promise." I raise an eyebrow. She doesn't usually like magic this much. Out of nowhere, I yawn. Mom and Nygrune look at me like I'm disrupting something.

"Sorry," I say. "I'm getting kind of tired. You two can keep reading, I don't mind."

My mom nods. I hear her calling after me as I leave the room.

"Remember to brush your teeth!"

~End RP.

It actually is getting kind of late, so I should go. I hope this works out.

*sigh* I said I wouldn't post, but here I am...

Downhill skiing is amazing, Admins! Especially the view. When my doct lets me on the slope again, I'll take a pic and show everyone the veiw. It's breathtakingly so worth it. Plus its just really fun. Idk, but I think cross country gets a little boring. It's just a continuous line of skiing, like hiking but much more difficult. Man, you'll have to come skiing in Colorado sometime, there's only a few mountains....I think....And I live kinda in the middle of all of them! XD I can give you pointers on where to go and when, and who to see for lessons. And the best mountain (*cough* fine. Best mountain in my opinion.) And if you don't think it's worth it, just go to the top of the mountains and see the view...it's way worth it. I'm currently learning how to snowboard (well, I was until my stupid IT-band decided to get all messed up) and I rented a snowboard for the whole season that I'm not even gonna be able to use. XD Oh well, there's always next season...And sledding!

Alright, I know this won't post until Monday, but I had to before I forgot what I was gonna say. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, Happy first days of Haunaka, and um....I can't remember how the other ones work. Is Kwanzaa over Christmas? Does anyone know how that works? I've been curious on all the other religions. Well, all the religions. I don't really have a religion, so...No church on Sunday! I went once with my friend and her grandma, and it was about a whole bunch of religious stuff I really didn't like, and everyone had to stand up and sing....And the words were confusing....And I literally played with her brothers toy cars the whole time. XD but really, it took me ten years to figure out what a church was and what a 'religion' was about.

If anyone does do any religion, I'd like to learn about it. My parents are strictally religion free, and would rather me not ask them about it. We've gone through some tough times, my great great grandparents were in the Jewish Genocide, and we've had some arguments with the other side of my family that was on the other side. So my parents decided to keep religions away from us, and I only figured out the three I know from friends. The only one my parents ever talked about was Buddisum. And I really have no clue what that is still. So, any help there would be appreciative! I'm scared to take a religion class at my high school because I don't know what to expect. Help and advice on this would be nice.

Alright, so where was I before I trailed off on that long talk? Oh yes, hope you had a wonderful break admins, and a wonderful Holliday everyone!

I did like downhill skiing on the gentler slopes. But I like cross-country, too. I don't think it's boring. We have great trails through the woods, curvy and hilly, and it's really pretty to be there on a snowy day.

Okay, I feel bad for posting this now, but I want to before I forget.

I live in Florida, like southwest Florida, so NO SNOW FOR ME! I want to see it though.

The weather is always hot down here. Right now it is like 80 degrees outside.

I would love to watch someone see snow for the first time...

Admins, is there any way we can arrange something?

Not that I know of on Chatterbox.

That is extraordinarily frustrating...

Not even if I posted something that only serious fans of Brian Jacques might be able to understand and that you delete soon after?

I live in Arizona, so it is really hot. I am glad I don't live in Phoenix because it is really hot there. I have only been skiing once, and it was a complete disaster. You are lucky that you get snow, all we get is cold.

I'm sorry, there just doesn't seem to be anything we can do... Look for traces of Kyngdom online, I guess. I don't know if or when I'll make my channel, but maybe something you recognize will end up in it.

Oh, if you're looking for the nano thing, just search nanowrimo. It's the first thing that pops up.

@Viola

I have only been to Texas once, but I have some family members there I think. They are just kinda weird, but I live in Arizona, so we get some of that.

I really wish that we could meet up somewhere. I would tell where I live, but I won't for privacy reasons. I don't live in Tucson, but I see it a lot cause I go to school there. Anyways, that's all that I can say...

I went to Texas once to visit family, too, actually, but I was maybe five at the time and haven't been back. Most of what I remember from the trip is cereal, the pool, the drowned scorpion I found in the pool, making little keychain animals out of string and beads, and talking about a hypothetical robot butler with my brothers after just waking up.

I wish we could meet up, too, but the admins themselves have said that there's no way they know of to arrange something.

Are we going to do the winter holiday in Kyngdom thing?

Yeah, I really want to see snow. My dad was born and raised in West Texas, so it was hot a lot too. I've been there a few times to family renunions and my great grandmother's funeral, but otherwise I've lived down in Sunshine State all my life. Let me just say lots of tourists and really hot weather.
