Hello, it's me again!
This is my first thread, and it's going to focus on my charrie Lycaella, her mom and her friend Nygrune. It's for following our adventures while we're not in a place or situation covered by another thread. 'We' because Ronan has asked to be Nygrune, to which of course I said yes.
Someone (I think Icy) said that B.I.G. and Catstrophe actually dislike each other. It makes sense, so... Just to let you know.
I'll begin where I left off on the Underwater Ball thread, with Lycaella and Nygrune planning to do some spying of a sort. They've asked Lycaella's mom to show them her notes, so I'll fast-forward to that.
Lycaella~
"Oh, so you're giving them their shadows back?"
We are sitting on a rug in my mom's room, reading her notes. I can't make sense of half the words, but she tells Nygrune and I what it means. Apparently, Catastrophe has found a way to separate shadows from their owners' bodies, and to keep him from creating a shadow army and destroying everything, B.I.G. has been researching it. They've managed to figure out how he did it, and are testing ways to reattach the shadows to their owners.
"Well, that's one way of putting it," my mom says. "We believe it will be beneficial to all of Kyngdom."
"I don't really understand this one... How would they sew them back on?" I ask.
"I believe it's with a special sort of thread, Ella," Mom says. "Let's see now..."
Nygrune finds it first. "A needle made from the bone of a magic or mythical being, preferably with thread also made from a magical material."
"Yes," my mom says, "Although personally I think that a binding spell shows more promise." I raise an eyebrow. She doesn't usually like magic this much. Out of nowhere, I yawn. Mom and Nygrune look at me like I'm disrupting something.
"Sorry," I say. "I'm getting kind of tired. You two can keep reading, I don't mind."
My mom nods. I hear her calling after me as I leave the room.
"Remember to brush your teeth!"

It actually is getting kind of late, so I should go. I hope this works out.

Viola? I must say that I really like this thread. It is fun to read, and I think it is cool how you post even when no one else does. Your characters are awesome too.

I think next, Nygrune will reveal his plan and carry it out with Lycaella's help, Nieke will make sure Alex R. doesn't die, Karune and her parents will get invited to Ronan's execution--I don't know about Lilly--and Karune will help him escape, maybe sending him a message beforehand.
I discovered the Nobyl family the Pur Morgensterns from someone's enemy category on The Who's here? thread yesterday, if that has any significance. And I have no idea what that file of Lycaella's dad's contains, so if anyone has any ideas, please tell me here.

I am sorry if I am jumping into the story. I am trying this out.
The train stops at the station, blowing steam everywhere. I grab my suitcase and travel bag, then exit the carriage.
After a quick interchange with the station master I head down the main street of New Windswood. It was a cute place, with postcard houses and plenty of room for window shopping.
I turn down a side-street and follow it till I reach the end. On the left side of the tree lined street is a house, tucked into the foliage.
I head up the stone path, making sure to step lightly. I didn't like to clomp around, as it warned people of my arrival.
Reaching the porch, I hop up the steps, coming to a brightly painted door. I knock, and after what seems like forever the door is opened by a girl who looks around 16. Behind her is a boy about her age, peering down at me.
"Hello," I say. "I am Whisp Elden, and I have your books."

Jumping into the story is fine. I don't know how to introduce myself or others anyway. I was actually picturing New Windswood a little differently, based on the map fragment, but I like your description, too. I will try to RP soon.

Karune and I board the ship to go to SailHaven, where we'll meet Shadow, Mina, and Sprocket, the three that contacted us.
Karune goes to the control center and starts to switch on buttons and take control of the gear while I buckle myself into the co-pilot's seat and watch.
"Anything I can do?" I ask.
While switching over-head pannels, she responds. "Actually, I think we're clear for take off."

We're going to SailHaven so we can get more materials or weapons to then save Ronan from his execution, right?
And oops, Lilly can fly the air ship if you want.

...I don't know where you got that from, but okay? I thought they would get one to four invitations in the mail or via human messenger, talk about it some, make a plan, and hire some semi-random person to operate vehicles.
I'm learning that when I post plot ideas, people mistake them for me saying "these things happen, now continue posting from where they end" instead of "I had some ideas, do you want to RP them?".

After I dropped the books off at Lycaella's, she kindly showed me out the door. I felt like I had interrupted something, but there was no helping that now.
Just as the door was closing I quickly asked where the nearest place of lodging was. She quickly told me, then snapped the door shut, and I shrugged. Everyone had bad days, and she seemed nice. Just worried.
I continued down the road, stopping to examine the flowers on the way. They grew everywhere, unlike in SailHaven. That was one of the things that I hated about the city. No wildlife, just buildings and metal.
Eventually I reached the hotel and got a room. It was a damp place, and my room smelled like wet clothing. I didn't really care. Just as long as there was reading space.

Starting from the end of my last RP:
Lycaella~
"You--" Nygrune stops. "We should go somewhere else."
I look around. I don't see anyone, but that doesn't mean nothing's there.
"Let's go to my room," I suggest. Nygrune nods, and we go inside.
"All right, so the plan--" Nygrune is cut off by a sound from downstairs. "Can't finish a sentence," he mutters. I shrug.
"Someone's at the door. You can tell me later." He says something else, but I'm not listening.
I creep quietly down the stairs, Nygrune following behind, and open the door.
"Hello," the visitor says. "I am Whisp Elden, and I have your books."
I blink, confused, but do my best to smile. "Would you like to come in?"
"Ah, yes, thank you, if it's not too much trouble," she says, ducking her head.
"Not at all," I assure her, motioning Nygrune aside to let her in.
I usher the petite, white-haired guest into the living room, where the three of us make slightly awkward conversation. She seems nice, though. She gives Nygrune his books and leaves soon enough. She inquires about somewhere to stay as she goes, like it's an afterthought. I direct her to the Four Horses Inn and quickly close the door, then immediately regret the quickness. But I don't open it again. Nygrune still has to tell me his plan. I sigh inwardly and go to ask.
