Hello, it's me
Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board
Hello, it's me
Hello, it's me again!
This is my first thread, and it's going to focus on my charrie Lycaella, her mom and her friend Nygrune. It's for following our adventures while we're not in a place or situation covered by another thread. 'We' because Ronan has asked to be Nygrune, to which of course I said yes.
Someone (I think Icy) said that B.I.G. and Catstrophe actually dislike each other. It makes sense, so... Just to let you know.
I'll begin where I left off on the Underwater Ball thread, with Lycaella and Nygrune planning to do some spying of a sort. They've asked Lycaella's mom to show them her notes, so I'll fast-forward to that.
Lycaella~
"Oh, so you're giving them their shadows back?"
We are sitting on a rug in my mom's room, reading her notes. I can't make sense of half the words, but she tells Nygrune and I what it means. Apparently, Catastrophe has found a way to separate shadows from their owners' bodies, and to keep him from creating a shadow army and destroying everything, B.I.G. has been researching it. They've managed to figure out how he did it, and are testing ways to reattach the shadows to their owners.
"Well, that's one way of putting it," my mom says. "We believe it will be beneficial to all of Kyngdom."
"I don't really understand this one... How would they sew them back on?" I ask.
"I believe it's with a special sort of thread, Ella," Mom says. "Let's see now..."
Nygrune finds it first. "A needle made from the bone of a magic or mythical being, preferably with thread also made from a magical material."
"Yes," my mom says, "Although personally I think that a binding spell shows more promise." I raise an eyebrow. She doesn't usually like magic this much. Out of nowhere, I yawn. Mom and Nygrune look at me like I'm disrupting something.
"Sorry," I say. "I'm getting kind of tired. You two can keep reading, I don't mind."
My mom nods. I hear her calling after me as I leave the room.
"Remember to brush your teeth!"
~End RP.
It actually is getting kind of late, so I should go. I hope this works out.

Where did everyone go? This isn't like you all, to leave not for a day, but for... Well, days. A long time. I know it's happened before, but this is bigger than I remember. What's going on?
(October 7, 2017 - 7:16 am)
I was gone this weekend. I'm sorry, I should have warned you guys. I do check Kyngdom every day, but I have been able to write.
(October 8, 2017 - 8:42 pm)
It's okay. Glad you're back!
Mexi says okvi. Ok what?
(October 9, 2017 - 3:39 pm)
I check Kyngdom every day, but when I can't continue the story without other people posting, I don't comment.
(October 7, 2017 - 11:04 am)
That might be it...
(October 8, 2017 - 8:40 am)
I should post something... Or I could read/draw/do homework instead...
(October 24, 2017 - 3:13 pm)
Huh... I keep telling myself I'll RP and then I end up just not doing it... Hm. I should do something about that.
(November 4, 2017 - 9:29 am)
Oh, and I just posted the 500th comment on this thread! Ha! Finally I get one!

Randomly: Lying in bed with a bowl of hot popcorn and a very long webcomic archive to read is a nice way to spend a drizzly autumn afternoon.
(November 5, 2017 - 3:14 pm)
Luckyyyyyyyyyy.
(November 6, 2017 - 1:22 pm)
There is nothing better, I definitely concur.

Hazel~
Hazel felt a sharp scent enter her nostrils, spreading through her lungs and carrying across her weak breaths into her lungs. It stung.
THROB. THROB. THROB.
Hazel's head felt like it was going to explode. It seemed as though there was a bush sprouting up into her brain from her nose. Her sinuses were clogged, her ears were ringing, and all noises sounded tinny and flat.
Another whiff of the pungent odor curled through Hazel's windpipe.
She coughed--
And awoke.
All around her swam faces--unfamiliar faces. Blurry faces. Hazel felt like she should say something...friendly. But something stopped her, furrowing her brows. Something willed her arms to move, angered upon discovering that they were bound...
Hazel felt a stab of alarm as she realized she could not control her own body. She was aware of movement and muted noises, but nothing more. She felt her mouth move, and panicked as memories surfaced against her will.
It only took a few moments for Hazel's free-thinking consciousness to slip away...until she was nothing more than a puppet once more.

"I'm going to try it now," declared the blue-haired girl.
"Ohhh," moaned Hazel. "What happened?"
"Hush," Nieke ordered.
"What happened?" Hazel insisted. "Where am I?"
"Be quiet," Nieke repeated firmly, her expression stern.
"Jaaws is gone," Hazel murmured. "But I can't remember anything else." She turned to Ben. "Who are you? Where did you come from?"
Trixie held up a hand, interrupting her brother. "Don't answer that," she told him. "Don't answer anything until we know if Jaaws is really gone."
The blue-haired girl approached Hazel, her expression gentle. Hazel's eyes softened just a bit. "Now, Hazel, just relax..."

*RPing muscles are sore* Yikes, I'm out of practice. I'll get better as time goes on.
(November 18, 2017 - 9:04 pm)
Wait, what blue haired girl are you talking about?
(November 19, 2017 - 9:07 am)
Norah, an elf we ran into in the forest.
