Hello, it's me again!
This is my first thread, and it's going to focus on my charrie Lycaella, her mom and her friend Nygrune. It's for following our adventures while we're not in a place or situation covered by another thread. 'We' because Ronan has asked to be Nygrune, to which of course I said yes.
Someone (I think Icy) said that B.I.G. and Catstrophe actually dislike each other. It makes sense, so... Just to let you know.
I'll begin where I left off on the Underwater Ball thread, with Lycaella and Nygrune planning to do some spying of a sort. They've asked Lycaella's mom to show them her notes, so I'll fast-forward to that.
Lycaella~
"Oh, so you're giving them their shadows back?"
We are sitting on a rug in my mom's room, reading her notes. I can't make sense of half the words, but she tells Nygrune and I what it means. Apparently, Catastrophe has found a way to separate shadows from their owners' bodies, and to keep him from creating a shadow army and destroying everything, B.I.G. has been researching it. They've managed to figure out how he did it, and are testing ways to reattach the shadows to their owners.
"Well, that's one way of putting it," my mom says. "We believe it will be beneficial to all of Kyngdom."
"I don't really understand this one... How would they sew them back on?" I ask.
"I believe it's with a special sort of thread, Ella," Mom says. "Let's see now..."
Nygrune finds it first. "A needle made from the bone of a magic or mythical being, preferably with thread also made from a magical material."
"Yes," my mom says, "Although personally I think that a binding spell shows more promise." I raise an eyebrow. She doesn't usually like magic this much. Out of nowhere, I yawn. Mom and Nygrune look at me like I'm disrupting something.
"Sorry," I say. "I'm getting kind of tired. You two can keep reading, I don't mind."
My mom nods. I hear her calling after me as I leave the room.
"Remember to brush your teeth!"

It actually is getting kind of late, so I should go. I hope this works out.

I have no idea. I only really met her when she joined the Elites.
@Viola? I meant Hazel's author. Has anyone seen her?

Success! Her character doesn't solely consist of her being a squirrel anthro! I don't know where Hazel's author is, though.

Thanks Viola, that really helped! And as is the case with all good teachers, you left me with even more questions.
Who's Ben? Where are Trixie and Nieke? Where is the current Resistance base? Are we still trying to kill Catastrophe? Are the powers still a big deal? Alexandria is alive and going by Marie, right? What's shadow up to? And lastly, what should I do?
May it rain fortune on whomever answers these questions. Thank you.

I can answer a few. Ben is Trixie's twin brother. He found her and has joined up with the Elites. They just found Norah who will hopefully heal Hazel. I think they're in middle Kyngdom, but I'm not sure.

All right, let's see.
Ben is Trixie's twin, as Trixie explained.
Trixie and Nieke are in the northeastern area of middle Kyngdom with the rest of the Elites and new elf healer charrie Norah.
There is no one main Resistance base, although last I heard there was a big one safely hidden in some forest or other, one said to be in the center of the Decoy Forest, one planned and probably existing but not much used somewhere underground, one possibly destroyed inside the old B.I.G. HQ on Bleak Peak, and I'm planning one in the place Lycaella found in the woods.
Yes, we are still trying to kill Catastrophe, but we're also trying to get the Sword away from him and keep him from getting the Shield and the Crown, all of which have fancy names I forgot, because if he gets all three he'll have the power to rule all of Kyngdom.
The Powers are currently not as big of a deal as they could be at the moment, which is odd considering that they're the only ones capable of taking down Catastrophe, but not so odd once you consider that most of the people who write for them and their guardians aren't very active anymore.
Yes, Alexandria is alive and going by Marie.
shadow is up to trying to find the 5 people she has to kill in order to gain access to the afterlife and probably also trying to help Mina, Marie/Alexandria, and the Resistance in general.
I'm not sure what you should do. Whatever you want within reasonable boundaries, maybe.

I'll try to answer some. The end goal is to kill Catastrophe, but right now we'really trying to get the Crown away from him. That is all explained in The Crown Aft... thread, which I suggest you read if you haven'the already. Also, Marie, Kristjan, and I are going to SailHaven to perform a mission that Maries needs to get done. Sorry, that wasn't very helpful.

The Elites are a small group of Resistance members and/or allies with the goal of discovering Jaaws' weaknesses, although their focus has temporarily shifted to helping their leader, Hazel, stop being hypnotized by Jaaws. The current members are Hazel, Nieke, Trixie, and Ben, and soon Norah will presumably become one as well.
