I run through

Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

I run through

I run through the Forest, looking for the ruins. This would normally have been a hard task for anyone, but it's two days before the the next full moon, and my senses are better than ever. I see the outline of a tower in the distance, and run towards it as fast as I can. As I approach the ruins, I take in their majesty. No matter how often I come here, they will always be breathtaking. Instead of  exploring the endless rooms of the deserted castle like I would normally do, I reach into my backpack and pull out my sketchpad and a piece charcoal from last night's fire. I made enough money yesterday at the forest market that I should be able to stop scavenging and take it easy for a while. I don't need money for much more than clothes and art supplies anyway, for I find or grow most of the things I need, but it's good to have a purse full of coins in the middle of a war. Times have been tuff lately, with the war going on. Less and less people buy my artwork and the objects I find, so I've been wearing clothes two sizes too small for months now. My colored pencils are nearly stubs, so I've been doing a lot of charcoal drawings lately. I've had to go into cities more and more often to sell my artwork and found objects, and normally the only buyers are rich tourists. I hate cities. They aren't really good places to be when you're like me. A were wolf, that is. Did I forget to mention that?

Out of Character

Shifter's a book about a world where certain people can heal others by moving the pain and injury into themselves, then transferring it into a special type of metal. This metal holds the pain until it needs to be released again, like in War.

Shifter is officially added to my list of books to read.

Bubbles and blue light. This isn't death, but it's someone healing me. Then a flash of light, and everything goes dark.

~~~~
I wake up in a small room, and Autumn and this other girl sits there, talking. I get up, but the girl panicks and holds out her hands.
"Not yet, not yet!"
I ignore her and sit up. My strength came back.
"Or never mind," she mumbles.
I roll my eyes and get up.
"Won't you at least say thank you?" Autumn asks.
"Why?" I spit.
"She healed you!" Autumn exclaims.
"Good for her!" I yell.
Autumn looks taken aback. "What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing," I snap. "Not in a good mood right now."
Autumn scoffs, and the girl looks at me.
"Look, thanks," I say. "But right now, I don't have time to sit around." I turn to Autumn. "Where's River?"
"I don't know, I lost track of him when we got seperated. Besides, it's too dangerous for you to go back out there," Autumn responds.
"What are you talking about?" I bark. "I'm going back out there, I need to talk to him. Besides, where are we now?"
"We're in a secret hall built by the Resistance," Autumn sighs. "And you're not going back."
"I want to see you make me!" I shout.
I stomp towards the door, but Autumn's up in a flash, blocking my way.
"I won't let you go!" she yells.
"Yes you will!" I yell back.
"No!" she exclaims. "You can't handle yourself!"
I'm filled with anger and rage. Don't turn on me now, Autumn.
"YES I CAN!" I bellow.
"NO YOU CAN'T!" Autumn practically screams. "I CAN'T LET YOU DIE!"
My fists clench, and the entire room starts to go dark. It blocks out the light, and the girl is trying to deflect it, but it is solely from my anger.
I cast a blow at Autumn, and it throws her aside. I then shove open the door and run out.
"We have no other choice!" I hear the girl scream.
Alarms start to blare, as if I'm an escaped prisoner. What was Autumn being so protective about?
From what I'm seeing, I have more important things to do than sit around and watch 2 girls babble about deep stuff. The girl called Rose is going rage. Autumn is going screamy and I don't care if that's not a word. Someone at some point made up words for there to be language so who says I can't add on to the work. Anyways, I need to find a way to remember who I am. I think some  magic should do the trick. Going back to the Autumn vs. Rose showdown Rose just threw a punch at Autumn. Ouchhhh, I was hoping she would miss. Then things start to go to far. I make my move. Neither of them going to win this showdown.
"You are the most two dull and empty headed people I've ever met. Sit down and work it out."
They just stare at me blankly. Somewhere inside, that look set off a spark.
"When I say sit, you sit," I bark.
"Now she wants to go back for some River," I say to Autumn.
"She doesn't want you to," I told Rose this time.
"Autumn, I know you're being caring but I think Rose is big enough to make her own decisions. Though whatever they did to her may have made her woozy."
"How about someone else goes for River or we can all go with Rose to find River?"
"It's called compromise because I doubt you've ever heard of it, the way you're fighting."
"Don't talk to me about compromising," I spit. I try to get underneath Autumn's grasp, but she has me pinned down in the hallway.
"Get off!" I exclaim, kicking her. She doesn't budge.
"Listen for a change, and she will!" the girl snaps.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" I ask with little care in my tone.
"Crimson," she replies.
"Okay, look, Crimson," I begin. "There's a lot of things going on right now in case you haven't noticed, and I'm all for listening, but right now I have somewhere to be," I say, turning to Autumn. "So let me go!"
I blow a force field to throw back Autumn, and it works. I jump up and run towards the exit, Autumn and Crimson following me.
We eventually all reach the castle hallways, and Crimson and Autumn are about to say something when I hold up my hand.
"Wait," I mutter, then looking at them and speaking up. "Something's not right."
A silence fills the halls, and we look around. The windows are flooded with the sunset's light.
"Nothing out of place to me-" Crimson says, interupted.
Autumn screams and writhes in pain, doubling over.
"Oh no," I say.
It's the evening, and the sun is beginning to set. It's been three days. Autumn's transformation is happening.
The pain started in my feet. I couldn't walk, I couldn't run. I knew what was happening, but I couldn't warn Crimson or Rose. Whenever I tried to speak, it came out a scream. But I guess that was warning enough. Then the pain spread, up through my body, eminating soon from my chest to my head. Soon, I felt it. The transfromation. I watched as my hands turned into paws, my nails grew into claws. I felt my body shrink to the size of a grayhound, and my front paws touched the floor. I was a wolf.
Maybe cooked green and blue mushrooms from the shadow will help keep Autumn sane during said transfermation
"Crimson," I say, turning to face Crimson with a look of fear on my face. "RUN!"
We sprint down the hallway, and Autumn the wolf chases after us. Crimson turns the corner and then another one, faster than me. Stupid dress.
As if on cue, I trip and fall flat on my face. I turn on the floor to see Autumn towering about me, ready to strike.
Then it flows through me. Queen Zefara's powers.
I illuminate in a blue blue light, and then it stops. Autumn's about to strike when I put my hand on her forehead and think of peace.
I look Autumn square in the eyes, and she does the same. I think of calm. Autumn relaxes.
I brush my hand down her fur, and then lift it, still keeping it inches from her.
"Autumn," I whisper.
She grimaces, and then she slowly lays down, falling asleep.
I sigh, right as Crimson comes back.
"What happened?" she asks.
"I don't know," I respond.
"Well, we better get somewhere safe," Crimson says.
I nod, and Crimson picks Autumn up.
We turn to see River standing by a door, waving to us.
I wake to the smell of insence. I see Matt standing above me, but he doesn't seem to notice I'm awake.
"Hi Matt. What's going on?"
"Autumn!" He cries, and he hugs me.
"whoa," I say, shrugging him off, "what happened?"
"You're transformation happened. You turened into a wolf, and then you tried to attack Rose and this other girl..."
"Rose! Where is she?"
Then I hear a different voice coming from the edge of the room.
"I'm right here, Autumn."
