I was thinking,
Chatterbox: Inkwell
I was thinking,
I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.
Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.
Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.
Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777
Suddenly transported to the 21st century.
Age: Unkown
Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.
Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.
Hope ya'll like my idea!

Great! So, we're going to Russia! Do we have to speak Russian? ;)
~Dora~
A stun gun? I thought. Wow, how many ways are there to protect yourself now?
"How do we get to Russia?" Deliha asked.
"Wait. Why are we going to Russia?" Fliex asked. "What's going on?"
"Well..." Elexhiia started, "It's like this...."
When she was done, Fliex gave a low whistle. Errol looked up from the patch of dirt his boot had been very interested in.
"So, you knew that we were going to come here when we saw you last?" he asked.
Elexhiia shrugged. "I had my suspicions," she said, though she looked at me as she spoke.
A sudden idea flashed through my mind. "So... does that mean that we were summoned here by the goverment or whoever? Is that how we got to 2012?"
Elexhiia shook her head. "I have no idea how you got there. But I do know that you need o get a move on. Fast. The goverment is tracking you down this moment. You need to work as fast as possible."
"How do we get to Russia?" Deliha asked again.
"You need to say the words, I wish to go to Russia. Simple as that."
"I wish to go to Russia," the four of us chanted.
Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light, and Elexhiia's voice saying , "Call me soon!"
(August 3, 2013 - 5:51 pm)
Probably not, though it would be funny if we suddenly could!
Dehlia ~
Harsh wind blew around me. I was freezing. I blinked open my eyes. It was dark, and there was no sign of life.
"Where are we?" Felix demanded.
"No idea," I answered, looking around. I suddenly remembered Elexhiia, and flicked open the small box strapped onto my wrist. I pressed the center button, and Elexhiia's face appeared on the screen. The backround behind her was the same we'd left. Large pine trees of the woods.
"Great, you made it," she said, evident relief in her voice.
"Yes, but where are we?" I asked.
"Moscow, Russia," Elexhiia replied. "You need to slip inside the Capitol building. The time tears will be in a vault there."
"Great," I replied. "But how do we know which is the Capitol building, how do we get in, and how do we get into the vault?"
"Stun anyone you need to, it won't kill them. Your wrist communicator can do a few extra things, plus I slipped Dora something extra attached to her gun that should help. Don't worry."
Dora looked down at her gun in surprise. Stuck to the side of the handle was a small black box with two sharp pins sticking out. She closed it into her fist, and stuck it into her pocket.
"Now get going before you freeze," and Elexhiia's face disappeared.
I closed the communicator and thrust my gun into my belt.
"Which way do we start?" I asked.
Errol cleared his throat. "I'm assuming it's the one with five guards standing outside it." He gestured to a large building. The only one with lights or any sign of life. We started forward. I just prayed Elexhiia knew what she was doing.
(August 4, 2013 - 3:32 pm)
~Dora~
As we aproached the guards, I felt my heart bearting louder and louder. The stun gun was in my hand, my knuckles were white as I clutched it close.
We stopped a few yards from the guards.
"So there are five guards," I heard myself say, "and four of us. How should we do this?"
"Split up," Errol said.
"How would we?" Fliex asked. "We may have weapons, but they certainly do, as well. It will be uneven whatever way we do it."
"Three of them are guarding one door, and the other two are guarding another door next to it. Two of us can go to one group, and the other two can go to the other."
I nodded. "That's almost the only thing we can do, anyway," I said. "Who goes with who?"
"Deliha and I can go to the two and Dora and Errol can go together to see the three," Fliex reasoned.
Errol nodded, and clutched his gun, ready to pull the trigger. "Let's go," he said.
We walked up to the building casually, as if we were going to walk past it, then suddenly, sprang up.
Errol and I raced for the three men, who pulled out three long swords frrom their belts. "Pull!" shouted Errol.
I pulled the trigger, sending a rocket of light towards two men who were standing together.
"Let's go!" Deliha shouted, before the shock of actually stunning a person drained in.
We raced up the stairs and flung open the door. The long hallway was huge, and empty.
"Where are they?" I whispered.
We looked down the hall, and at the dozens of closed doors.
(August 5, 2013 - 6:51 pm)
Dehlia ~
Felix and I followed Errol and Dora's lead, casually walking past. I glanced over to Felix.
"Now?" His eyes asked. I gave the smallest of nods. We spun around, drawing our guns in unison, and pulled the trigger. The two guards dropped before they knew what hit them.
"Let's go!" I shouted, starting to run toward the door. We burst in, and stopped short.
"Where are they?" Dora whispered. Dozens of doors lined the hall, but not one sign of life or people.
"I don't.." Suddenly it hit me. "This is just a show. They're hiding, along with the vault. I bet the doors don't lead anywhere." Just to confirm my suspicions, I threw open a door. It was nothing but a space hardly wider than a pantry.
"So, what now?" Felix asked.
I glanced around, my eyes resting on a rug in the middle of a grand lobby. Curious, I walked over, and knelt down to observe it. It was a large, heavy type of rug. The marble floor pattern continued on beneath it, though there was something slightly off at the edge of the rug.
"Come help me," I commanded, attempting to shove the rug out of the way. Dora and Felix knelt down beside me, and together we managed to get it out of the way.
"Why did we do that?" Felix demanded. The floor looked exactly the same, but I caught a slight difference in the very center. I pointed to a crack in the floor. I bent down and attempted to riggle my finger in a crack in the floor. I managed to get my whole hand in, and pulled upward. The floor slowly opened, like a hatch door.
"How?..." Errol stammered, staring.
"It's like a storm cellar. You hide it somewhere in the house beneath a rug, and when bad weather hits, you go below, where you've stored provisions. So, shall we head on?"
(August 6, 2013 - 9:46 pm)
What do you think if we tried to put this into a book?
(August 6, 2013 - 9:49 pm)
I was thinking... that maybe we could publish it on Create Space,a free publishing company, if we could get in contact elsewhere. We would need L, Quintus's and SC's permission/help, though. And a lot of editing. I just read everything from page 10. Have I really been spelling Felix's name wrong the whole time? *facepalm* It would be really fun to do, if we could, though!
~Dora~
I gasped as the door opened up. "Should we go down?" Deliha asked.
I hesitated, but a shout from behind us confirmed my answer. "Let's go," Fliex and I said in unison, clattering down the stairs. Deliha and Errol were close behind.
"They're in the vault!" A man's voice shouted.
"After them!" another man's words spurred us on, further down the stairs.
"No, they have weapons. Close the door, and call the guards. They can out number them."
The last voice was said in a cool, commanding voice, and, to our horror, was obeyed at once, trapping us in a vault of darkness.
"What now?" I asked, my voice echoing off the vault's walls.
"What does that extra thing do?" Errol asked, "The one that she gave you?"
I fumbled around for the gun. "Ouch!" One of the points pricked my hands as I pulled it from it's holder. "What is it?" I asked.
Just then, a beeping came from Elexhiia's watch communicator.
(August 7, 2013 - 5:21 pm)
I haven't heard of Create Space, but I'll check it out. Are you registered to go onto Camp Nano? Even though it's not in session, you can still message other campers. We can keep in touch that way too. Yeah, it does need editing, but you're right, it would be really fun! L and Quintus have been gone for awhile, so we'll have to see about gettin in touch with them. I'll message SC and see if she can help. Oh, and don't worry about misspelling Felix's name. I do stuff like that ALL the time! I drive myself crazy! ;)
Dehlia ~
I flipped open the beeping watch communicator. The screen gave a small illumination in the deafening darkness.
"They spotted you, didn't they?" Elexhiia asked.
"How did you know?" I demanded.
"I can track you all with that device. Now, keep heading down the stairs. The guards will be on your tail in no time. In fact, they already are." I could hear a great deal of shouts and footsteps up above.
"Come on," I waved to keep heading down. "Now what?"
"At the bottom is a vault. The Russians don't expect you to get inside. The big, grand door, is fake. The REAL vault is below the stairs. It will look like a small shoe closet, but there will be a hidden security system, and the door will be locked. Use the little device I put on Dora's gun. It will disable the security system and unlock the door. Grab the time tears, then get out. Stun the men, then head up the stairs."
The instructions seemed simple enough. "Why not just teleport back to you?" I asked.
"Because you need light. Don't ask me to explain the science, even I don't know. No one does. You just do."
I nodded, then closed the communicator.
"For liberty," I whispered, and we continued downward.
(August 8, 2013 - 5:26 pm)
Can't write right now, sorry. Will get on later today.
And, very, very sorry, but I cannot get onto Camp NaNo, because of the age requirements. You have to be 13, so I have to wait two more years or so. It stinks. I'm only on YWP.
You said that L was in your cabin. Is she gone yet?
CreateSpace is a free self publishinf company. On the adult NaNo, and on YWP, but not Camp (boo), if you win, then you get a CreateSpace code, which enables you to order 5 free copies of your book! But the actual publishing is free.
I do hope we can get together somehow.
Oh! And would we have to get to Tovah, too?
(August 9, 2013 - 9:35 am)
~Dora~
We climbed down the dark stairway, groping with our hands so not to fall off. Once we were at the bottom, we groped to the side of the stairs that Elexhiia had instructed.
"Where's the door?" I asked, feeling the wall for a hidden spring or cach.
"We have to find it in this darkness," Errol's voice came from my right.
"What's this? Feliex asked, and then Deliha cried out, "A door knob!"
I gripped the black box even more tightly now, and pointed the needles at the door. "Open it," I managed to say, squeezing the box as hard as possible.
Slowly, Deliha opened the door. The air was quiet, as we stared into the vault. There was the one bottle that Elexhiia had sent us to get.
We stared at the bottle, until furious pounding reminded us that we had only so much time.
Errol grabbed the bottle of time tears, and jammed it in his pocket. We clattered up the stairs, and came to the heavy door.
"What now?" I whispered, frantically.
(August 9, 2013 - 4:56 pm)
That's sad. I think Camp should be open to the younger ages too. Yes, L was in my cabin, though the cabins are now closed (they closed the fourth) but I can still message her. Though, she hadn't written in since the second week. I'll also message SC, since she was in my cabin too. Though Tovah and Quintus haven't been on in awhile, so I'm not sure how we'll get in touch with them. We'll have to think on that.
That is SO cool! This is my first time doing the November Nano, so I'm now TOTALLY psyched!
Dehlia ~
"What now?" Dora whispered.
I pulled out my gun and cocked it. "We fight our way through," I answered. And on cue, the door burst open. As if planned, soldier bore down, swords. Simultaniously, all four of us let loose with the guns. The soldiers in the front dropped to the floor, completely immobilized. We kept firing. The guns didn't seem to need to be reloaded, which surprised me. Every time a soldier came close, they would receive a blast of blue light, and would instantly drop. Finally, we made it through the opening. The other soldiers had finally realized we weren't going to be overpowered, and backed off.
"Now!" I shouted, and in unison, we shouted "I wish to get back to Elexhiia!" and there world around faded away.

I can't write any more. My fingers are swollen from shooting arrows too much.
(August 10, 2013 - 4:22 pm)
You do archery? Cool!
If you join YWP, we can message each other...
OLL said that they were hoping to get a YWP Camp NaNo someday. I'm glad we at least have YWP NaNo, though.
And yes, CreateSpace is cool. You can get the book on Amazon, too.
~Dora~
"I wish to get back to Elexhiia!" I shouted with the others. Then the scene before us blurred, and we were in... the middle of a desert?
Elexhiia's face showed obviouse signs of relief. "You're back!" she said happily, "And you have the time tears."
I looked around myself. "Why are you out here, Elexhiia?" I asked in bewilderment.
She shook her head as she tok the bottle of tears from Errol, who handed them to her reluctantly.
"There's no time. You have to go to the next bottle before the 48 hours are up."
"Where do we go next?" Feliex asked.
Elexhiia looked up from tucking the time tears into her pocket.
"London."
(August 10, 2013 - 5:32 pm)
Yup! Archery is VERY cool and really fun! But my mom said no more shooting until I get gloves. She's worried she'd have to take me to the doctor if my fingers became swollen again. Plus the swelling is painful, so I guess I should. I also need an armguard. *sigh* But anyhoot!
I tried logging onto the YWP sight, but it wouldn't recognize my username, even though I'm registered. It's weird.
Dehlia ~
"London it is," I said, and together in unison, we all shouted, "I wish to go to London."
Once again it was night, which I personally didn't mind. It helped cover us. We arrived in front of the largest clock I'd ever seen in my entire life, reaching high off into the sky. Just then, it struck, ringing twelve times. I frowned. It felt like the middle of the day where Elexhiia was. How could it already be midnight here? I opened the comunicator on my wrist.
"We're here," I told Elexhiia when her face appeared on the screen.
"Good," she breathed. She evidently did not have a whole lot of confidence it our teleporting.
"Elexhiia, how is it midnight here? It's got to be hardly four o'clock there." I said.
"The time zones are all messed up thanks to the consistant time traveling. Sometimes, people would travel back in time only a few hours to other countries. Whenever somebody time traveled, there would be a slight disturbance in the present time. The more people did that, the more the time zones would change, until you get to where it's midnight in London, and only one o'clock in Arizona. That's another reason we have to make sure the time tears aren't abused."
I nodded. But something about what she said bothered me.
"We. You said we, like it's not just us, but like there are others. Elexhiia, are there others who know what we're doing?"
Elexhiia flushed.
"Look, never mind that now. Just be sure to get the time tears as quickly as possible. They're being kept in Buckingham Palace."
I jolted.
"Wait a second, you want us to break into the Royal Families house?"
________________________________________________________________________________
Okay, so this oughta be interesting! I couldn't resist. It was either this, or Big Ben. But this seemed like more fun! Plus, I was thinking maybe Elexhiia could be in legue with a Secret Service/spy type thing, trying to save the world or whatever. But we don't have to do that. I just thought it might help explain her. Thoughts?
Also, when we revise, we'll have to do a lot of research, to make all the information correct.
(August 11, 2013 - 6:12 pm)
Can't write right now, stealing Butterfly's time on the computer.
YWP isn't with Camp, so even though you're registered to Camp, it won't accept it, and though I'm registered with YWP, Camp won't accept me.
Yes, lots of reaserch will be needed, and pleanty of revision. Any luck with L and SC?
(August 12, 2013 - 11:31 am)
~Dora~
Elexhiia's face faded from the screen, and Deliha closed the communicator with a snap.
"The royal family's house?" I asked, bewildered. "Where people actually live?"
Felix shot the watch a strange look. "Is that thing broken?" he asked, "I mean, their royal highness's house? She's got to be kidding."
Errol shook his head. "Think about it," he said. "If you were supposed to keep something safe, where would be better than in you own house, by your own bed, or in a safe that has a dozen guards or so in it? It couldn't be better."
Fliex and I nodded grimly, and Deliha looked pained at the words. "So we actually have to sneak into their Royal Highness's room?" she asked. "While they're sleeping? The vault was hard enough."
"Well, we don't know where the bottle is yet," I pointed out. "But.. we may have to."
"Well, let's get going," Errol said, "We have to get to the palace first."
We trudged along the streets of London, stopping only when we came to the great, looming shape of the palace.
The four of us looked at it.
"Well," I said, "Here we are. So where do we search first?"
__________
So, I'm leaving soon, and what should we do with this while I'm gone? Can we keep it alive?
And, Spamster says hour.
But I just forgot to enter it in, so now it's igkb.
(August 12, 2013 - 5:01 pm)
I only just got a chance to message them, so we'll have to see. If they can't help us revise it, I think we might at least need their say so to use their characters.
Dehlia ~
I stared through the gate at the massive building. It was huge. Where were you supposed to look for a small bottle? Then a thought struck me that made me groan.
"What?" Dora asked.
"Think, if you were worried about your precious bottle of time tears being stolen, where would you keep it? Someplace almost impenetrable. Someplace that no one would think to look."
"Okay, I give up, where?" Felix asked. Dora gasped.
"No," she said, getting the same look I had.
"Yup," I answered. "The Queen's bedroom."
"Wait, WHAT?!" Errol and Felix shouted simultaniously.
"We might, might, make actually make it in there. But the Queen's bedroom?!" Felix said.
"I don't think she's here," Errol said. We all looked at him. "The Royal family doesn't often actually say at Buckingham Palace. Look around, there aren't as many guards as you'd expect. If they were here, I think there'd be a lot more of them." I nodded. He was right.
"So what, we just stroll in there and take the tears?" Felix asked.
"Nope," I said, flipping the switch on my gun. We headed toward Buckingham Palace.
___________________________________________________________________________
I thought that would be a comical twist!
