I was thinking,
Chatterbox: Inkwell
I was thinking,
I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.
Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.
Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.
Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777
Suddenly transported to the 21st century.
Age: Unkown
Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.
Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.
Hope ya'll like my idea!

Dehlia ~
I paced back and forth, pondering our options, which weren't many. The only thing I could think of that might work was to go and try to steal the time tears back, which was completely ludicrous, but maybe just enough to work. I looked at Dora, and could tell she was thinking the same thing.
I stopped pacing and sat down beside her. Without looking at her, I said; "We are completely crazy." She nodded in agreement, a smile smile on her face. "So, tonight?" She asked. I looked at her, and for the first time since we came here, I grinned hugely. "Tonight it is."
We knelt, shrouded in darkness, staring at the large warehouse. That was an upside. It being so large, it may be easier to sneak. It was also the downside. So many places to hide the time tears. We slipped along, staying in the shadows, close to the wall. We'd managed to get our hands on some dark coats, helping conceal us even further. "I now know the apprehension a thief feels," I whispered back to Dora. Though technically, we weren't thieving, merely retrieving. "Ready?" I asked her. She nodded.
So, I'll let you, True, decide how we get into the warehouse!

~Dora~
I glanced at Deliha. Then at the warehouse. How on earth were we going to get in there?
The streets were deserted in the area. No horseless carriges. No people. No Liz, max, or the other people. If only they would go out all at once or almost all at once, letting us outnumber them...
"That's it!" I cried. "Deliha, which room are the boys in?"
Deliha pointed to a window. "That's the one that I snuck out of," she said.
"Do you think there were any tears in there?"
"I don't know. There might have been."
I grinned. "Find a rock," I said."We're going to break in."
"What!?"
"Throw a large rock at the window, the one at the other end of the building. Then open the window, and climb in, and rescue the boys!"
Deliha looked doubtful. "But there will surely be some people in the room. What if the door's locked? And what about the tears?"
"It's our best chance," I insisted.
"Well ... All right," Deliha said.
Together the two of us grabbed the largest rock we could find, and dragged it to the window farthest from the one Deliha had escaped from.
"Ready?" I whispered. "One ... two ... three ... go!"
On 'go' we heaved the rock as hard as we could, and sccurried away as CRASH! it shattered the glass to bits.
Shrieks and screams came from the house, and fast footsteps making their way to the room. I grinned at Deliha as we ran to the window.
"It worked!" she whispered.
As we came to the window, the shrieks grew less and less. The, from the other end of the warehouse, yelling in deep tones, and footsteps came. They were going to investigate!
"Hurry," I whispered, "We don't have much time."
Quickly, we reached out to the window. It was unlocked! The were curtains, though, so we couldn't see if there were people in the room.
I looked at Deliha. She looked at me. Should we take the chance?" I asked.

I've got to go, so you can finish off!
(June 26, 2013 - 6:45 pm)
Sorry! Still busy!
Dehlia ~
I glanced at Dora, a million thoughts running through my head. "Let's go," I whispered, and launched myself through the window.
I landed lightly, Dora right behind me. Felix and Errol stood against the back wall, looking a mixture of scared half to death, and amused. No one else was in the room, though I could hear voices and footsteps hurrying this way.
"Go!" I commanded Errol and Felix. "Meet us in an alley three streets from here." "Where are you going?" Errol asked. "To get the time tears," I replied. While I spoke, I had scanned the room. No sign of any time tears, or where they could be hidden. "Come on, Dora." We practically had to shove Felix out the window, costing us precious time. After the boys had left, Dora and I bolted to the door, and cautiously opened it. Steps echoed coming rapidly down the hall. "This way!" I hissed at Dora. We ducked into a very small closet beneath the stairs. No one bigger than us could fit in here, so I prayed they wouldn't think to look.
I could now hear yelling coming from the room. "They've gone out the window!" Screeched a girl. I recognized it as Liz. "Which way did they go?!" Yelled another voice. Max. Dora and I held our breath, waiting. "Follow them!" Shouted Liz. Several pairs of feet thundered past our hiding place. Then, all was silent.

TOPP!

~Dora~
I breathed deeply, trying to breath away my nervousness.
"They've gone," Deliha whispered. "We can go out now."
I nodded, but didn't speak.
"Where do you think they hid the tears?" she whispered to me.
I shrugged, feeling around the closet. Only walls...
"Hey," I said suddenly, "What's this?" I felt over a strange lump in the wall.
"Hmm," Deliha said, running her fingers around the wall around it.
"Maybe..." I said, pushing the lump with my thumb.
Suddenly, the wall flew away, and a closet was revealed. It it was one glass bottle, identical to the one back at the alley.
Deliha gasped, and I reached for the bottle. But the second I touched the glass, a shrill siren filled the air.

Oh, are you going to join YWP NaNo this November?
(June 29, 2013 - 7:10 pm)
I don't mind at all! I like it! Hmm. I'm not sure. Is there a difference between YWP and the 50k nanowrimo? I've only just gotten into Nano in April.
Dehlia ~
"Dora, that's genius!" I said as the panel slid back. I couldn't believe it. The time tears, hidden right there in front of us. Dora reached her hand out, but as soon as her finger tips connected with the glass vile, a loud sound went, causing my heart to race.
"Grab it and run!" I shouted. We bolted out the door, and started heading down the hall. The siren spuring us on. Suddenly the path was blocked by Max, and the other man, who could cause excrusiating pain, just by touching you. I came to a halt, and put my arm out to stop Dora from running. We started backing up.
"Give us the time tears!" Max ordered. We just glared in return. The other man said nothing. He just came toward us. "When I say go, we go," I said in a low voice. She nodded. We continued slowly walking back.
I caught something out of the corner of my eye. A coat stand. I waited, waited... "NOW!" I screamed. Dora spun on heel and bolted. Max and the other man lunged. I grabbed the coat stand and swung with all my might, knocking them back. I then turned and ran. Dora and I burst through the front door, shooting down the street. We could hear yells behind us. Spured by wild fear, we ran. I vaguely knew where we were going, but at the moment, all I was worried about was getting away. Seeing that man again had scared me beyond anything else, and all I knew was we had to get away.

YWP is like the adult NaNo, but it's for 18 and younger. If you're thirteen, then you can go to the adult site, but YWP is for kids - no boring adults. Also, you can set you word count goal to anything. I saw goals from 3 to 100,000 words.
I hope you'll come, though!
~Dora~
I ran blindly. What was Max doing here? I wanted desperatly to know, but not enough to be captured in order to get some answers. The men were hot on our heels, and I was tiring already. But the thought of the desperate men, and the thought of giving up the time tears spurred me on.
Deliha and I dodged, ducked, hid, and ran all over the neighborhodfor what seemed like forever. At last, when we were hiding behind three large black bags that smelled very bad, we heard one of them say, "Drat, they've gone. We'll comb the city thouroghly tomorrow."
I squeezed Deliha's hand tightly as we watched them walk back to the warehouse. Stelthily, we were able to follow them back, and from the warehouse, we walked to the crate house.
Fliex and Errol looked up as we ran up to them.
"We were about to go search for you!" Fliex exclaimed, "Where have you two been? Breaking in like that was ... " he tried to think of the right word. "It was either the best thing you could have done, or the most fool hardy thing I have ever seen. Even more foolhardy and wonderful than snatching theses," Fliex held up the original bottle of time tears.
"Crazy,!" muttered Errol. "That was crazy. We were guarded around the clock, and then abandoned for two minutes and we escape!"
"What happened to you three in there?" I asked, "Deliha told me about it, but I want to know your side of the story, too."
"There's no time," Deliha interrupted. "We may be together again, but they are looking for us. We have to get out of here!"
Fliex held up the old bottle, "Do we have enough?" he asked. "Exliha told us that only a few of us could go home with these."
"Harrumph," Errol grumbled at the mention of Elixah's name. But he looked worried, too.
"No worry," Deliha smiled. " Dora and I have some more!"
I looked around at the four of us. I wanted to go home but... "Is this good bye, then?" I asked.

I'll let you figure up the answer. ;)
(July 2, 2013 - 5:23 pm)
Ooh, I just got a wicked idea! You may change this if you want, I'm just going to throw it out there.
Dehlia ~
I stared around at Dora, Felix, and Errol. Time seemed to slow down. We'd been through so much, the idea of parting, of going home, seemed almost intangible.
"I guess so," I whispered quietly. I turned and hugged Dora. No matter what happened, I knew she would always be what I considered my closest friend. I then hugged Felix and Errol. We each took the time tears, and uncorked them.
"So, what will this feel like?" Felix asked. "Will it hurt?"
"I don't know. I guess we'll just have to find out," I replied.
Silently, we each raised the glass to our lips. The clear liquid felt icy cold on my throat. Suddenly, I dropped the glass and doubled over. My vision blurred, like I was staring at the world through water. I started shaking. The cold spread all over my body. Everything continued to haze around me. Suddenly, I heard a yell next to me. I thought it was Felix. I felt someone latch onto me, but I couldn't tell who it was. I tried to push them off, but they wouldn't let go. Just before I blacked out, a horrifying thought struck me. And I realized that Max and the others were still after the time tears.
********************************************************************
So, Liz and the others maybe grabbed onto us as we were disappearing. Later, we each discover we can still time travel (including Max and the others, we need a name for that group). Maybe they try to head to the future, to get more time tears, and we try and stop them? I'm guessing maybe we discover we can still time travel like we came to the future, or similar ways. Something that strikes us, causes us to time travel. Maybe we can communicate through thought?
(July 3, 2013 - 6:12 pm)
I think I get it. I'm going to really god-mod now, to get the Group out of the way, but L, Quintus, and SC haven't been here for ages, and we really need to get to their characters.
-Max-
I tightened my hold on the girl who had gotten away. Around me, Liz and the others latched mon to the girl and two boys who had escaped with the time tears.
"Hold on tight!" yelled Liz over one of the boy's yells. "Maybe we can stop them, or even go to their time!"
I nodded numbly, but I saw the one from Arctica shake his - or was it her - head.
Then, they just disappeared. The girl I was holding onto became paler and paler and skinnier and skinnier, until she was like a clear piece of thread. The others we were holding onto became like that to. Then - pop - they were gone.
We looked at Liz. She was scowling at the bottle that one of them had dropped. It was empty.
"They took it all," she said, "Evey last drop. What will They do when they find out? We have to get the other bottle back!"
"But Liz," said Antartica, "They need-"
"QUIET!" Liz shouted. "We need the other bottle. Come. Volt will want to know about this."
We followed her, but I heard Arctica mutter, "But they need both of the bottles to get back home."
______________________
I just wanted to see things from more than one angle. And is it all right to call the electric guy Volt?
Also, do you think we should really god-mod? I mean take a character, and write from his POV? Like what I did to Max? And, should we go back home, then maybe find something (like a ring. I use that in my novel) that when we put it on and wish to, we can meet again? We could wish the first time not knowing it, and later put two and two together.
Answers?
(July 4, 2013 - 4:18 pm)
Yeah, I think we should. If SC, L, or any of the others come back, we can let them take over, but the only way to keep the RP going is to god-mod it. I also like the ring idea too! Hmm. Maybe it can be something from each of our times. Like a book brought me here by wishing, so maybe that can take Dehlia to wherever we meet. Plus, would we be meeting back in the present (if that sentence makes any sense), like the alley we first appeared in?
Also, I like naming electric guy Volt! I couldn't come up with a name, and he certainly needed one.
Hmm. I'm in a Nano cabin with SC and L, so maybe I can ask them to come back? Though they may not be back here till after July. In fact, I need to get cracking on my writing too.
I'll keep thinking!
(July 6, 2013 - 4:31 pm)
Maybe Dora could find a ring, and Errol has the watch, Deliha has the book, and Fliex has the chalk. Does Max get anything?
I like the idea about them meeting together, but I don't know if they should go to 2012 all of the time. Shouldn't they go to the future? (I mean, weren't we planning for them to go and see Elixah. I can never spell that name right.)
Yes! Please tell SC and L! We need them soon!!
And, if they don't come, who should be who? Should we take the other three ( or four counting Elixah) and tell it from their POV whenever, not minding who does what, or should we assign them to each other?
(July 7, 2013 - 4:55 pm)
