I was thinking,
Chatterbox: Inkwell
I was thinking,
I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.
Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.
Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.
Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777
Suddenly transported to the 21st century.
Age: Unkown
Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.
Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.
Hope ya'll like my idea!

Yeah, my suggestion was for the part II. :) So, take it away!

Okay, cool!
@ Flaming Girl: Sure! We were just talking about if someone else might want to join! We're just finishing up what I guess we'll call Part 1, so you can jump in for Part 2 if you like.
Dehlia ~
I stood outside, gazing up at the brilliant blue sky. A summer breeze swept my dress around my ankles, and pulled loose hair out from under my bonnet. I wiped dirt from my hands on my apron. I'd been tending the garden, anxious for a chance to be outside.
"It's good to see you're doing well," a voice said behind me. I turned around, and nearly had a heart attack. Elexhiia stood leaning against a tree, watching me.
"How... when, what..." I couldn't complete a sentence. I was completely dumbstruck. She smiled, walking over.
"It's good to see you," she said quietly, giving me a hug. I hugged her back, the shock starting to wear off. She led me over to the woodpile behind the barn. We sat down, spreading out our legs in front of us, leaning against the barn. If my mother were to see me, she'd have a fit for sitting so unladylike.
"I assume you already know how I got here," she said, giving me a knowing look. I smiled looking down at my hands and nodded.
"Errol and Felix say hello."
I looked at her in surprise. "You've been to see Errol and Felix?"
"Yes, I had to explain to them too," Elexhiia said quietly.
"You and the others did very well," she continued after a moment. "My trained agents couldn't have done better."
I smiled, but hesitated. Finally I asked, "Why were we chosen? I mean, why us? Why not someone else?"
"Well," Elexhiia hesitated. "Actually, you weren't chosen. At least not by us. You showed up in 2012 by use of time tears, therefore sending us a red flag."
"Time tears!" I said in surprise. "But, I didn't even know about time tears before you told us."
"I know. Which means either you used them unwittingly, or someone else rigged it."
I thought back to when I traveled.
"There was a book," I said quietly.
"What?" Elexhiia asked.
"A book. It was a book I'd looked at often. It showed places of back in history, present, and then the future. I saw a picture of future Boston, and I wished I could see it. Suddenly, I was there."
Elexhiia frowned, thinking.
"Like Errol and Felix," she mumbled.
"What?" I asked.
"It sounds like these items were infused with time tears," Elexhiia said.
I sat dumfounded for a moment. Infused with time tears?
"Be very careful, Dehlia," Elexhiia said quietly. "Items infused with tears can be powerful and dangerous things. Keep it hidden."
I nodded. Elexhiia smiled sadly as she stood.
"I have to go see Dora now. I don't know if I'll see you again, but it's been an honor knowing you," she said hugging me one last time. I could feel tears rising in my eyes, but I fought them down.
"Tell Dora hello!" I said. I found I missed Dora horribly. Out of all our adventures, she was the one I'd been closest to. I missed her to the point it hurt.
Elexhiia nodded, raising her hand in farewell. I watched as she melted into the sunlight.

Great!
Are we going to make a new thread for part two, so other people can join? Or let them find their way to the back of this thread?
A year from now. Exactly a year.
~Dora~
A week went by before my "accident" had happened, but I still stayed at Aunt Dora's house. On that day, I was sitting at the large grey rock, the one that my cousin had come to me with. Today, however, I was all alone. Aunt Dora had sent me outside with some knitting, so that I could do some work while "thinking" and "getting away from the dreariness of the house." I didn't mind. The outside was always inviting.
A line of ants were marching up the rock, one after the other. I stopped in mid-stitch, watching them intently, noticing how they all followed the leader.
"Dora. You're looking the best in weeks," a familiar voice jolted me out of my intently gazing.
"Elexhiia!" I cried, jumping up, my knitting falling, forgotten to the ground. "How- how- how did you get here?"
She smiled, and hugged me, then sat down beside me on the rock.
"The boys and Dehlia say hello," she said, ignoring my question.
"Errol? Felix? Dehlia?" I didn't try to contain my amazement. "You've seen them?"
Elexhiia nodded. "I had to explain to them . . . what had happened. That's why I came to see you."
"The others. . ." my chest tightened at the thought, "How are they? Dehlia?"
Ehexhiia smiled, "They're fine," she assured me, "recovered quite fast."
I relaxed. "How is it? Back in the future, I mean," I asked.
Elexhiia frowned. "As fine as you could expect, considering that we just got over the war. The tears . . . they will be destroyed soon. However . . ." her brow furrowed, and she shook her head and sighed. "I might as well tell you. Volt's gone, and his group is scattered. Some of them we could find. The others . . ." she scowled. "I would like to get my hands on that jerk who stole my tears."
I nodded. "You had no magical object. Only the tears," I recalled.
Elexhiia nodded. Then looked at me, seriously. "Magical object? Dora, what do you mean?"
I shrugged. "Errol got to the future - the past for him - by a watch. Felix got there with some chalk, and Dehlia got there with a book."
Elexhiia nodded, hurriedly. "I know, they all told me. But how did you get there, Dora?" her voice sounded urgent.
"I fainted from the sight of blood," I said, using the reason that I had told Dehlia oh so long ago. Elexhiia's face fell. "But," I added, "When since I got back here, I think that it was this."
I pulled the handkerchief from my pocket. "My father gave it to me on the same day I fainted."
"A handkerchief?" Elexhiia sounded very disappointed. "Why do you think. . . ?" her eyes widened. "2012. Dora. This handkerchief . . ." she thrust it back at me. "Keep it. But be careful with it, it's infused in time tears. If Volt ever got his hands on that. . ."
"Infused in time tears?" I asked. "But who would have done that? And how?"
Elexhiia shook her head. "I don't know. Maybe Volt. . . no, he wouldn't have. Why would he?"
"Shouldn't you destroy it?" I asked. "If it's so dangerous, so powerful, then it's as good at time tears. If it's still powerful, it could mean that it's power never wanes."
Elexhiia widened her eyes. "Dora, don't give anybody it," she warned. "I wouldn't try it, either, in case you happen to not be able to come back. Keep it safe. This is my last visit. After this, we will destroy the time tears, and I will be trapped in my right time. I don't think that I'll ever see you again, but I will say, you are a brave girl Dora. I'm glad to have worked with you."
I stood up. Now was when I would cut the connection with time. Now I would return to life as a normal child, just with bold memories.
"Good bye, Elexhiia," I said. "Good luck in the future." I squeezed her hands once more, and watched her disappear to her right time.

I know. One year later. Exactly one year later, we finish part 1. That's amazing. I can't believe we managed to do that.
Maybe we should start a new thread for Part 2, just because this one has been around so long, I don't think anyone else is really checking up or reading it. Plus, I like the idea of saving this one as just part 1. But then again, I'd be sad to leave it. What do you think?

Thanks! I'm a little bit confused storyline wise, but I think I understand this.
Viola-
The heat is unbearable this summer. There are even new types of grasshoppers. My mother is inside with her wind machine and my four brothers are "helping" father in the fields. As I float in the river on this swelteringly hot day, I wonder what makes the yellow grasshoppers so fat and slow. I look to my left and see a hummingbird coming closer and closer to me. It stops, hovering within arm's reach. It stares at me, as if asking me something. Suddenly, it darts forward and lands on my hand. I manage to stay still as it hops around my idle palm. It looks at me and flies away.
I'm back at the river when my hummingbird comes back. I stretch out a finger to pet it and as I do, the strangest sensation of my stomach floating inside of me and a cold breeze whips my hair around. I look up, and see that I'm not in the river anymore.

Add a link to here on the second one, perhapse? Then people can find it easy, and we'll be able to get to it.
Make it whenever! ;)

Okay, I just made it using both our names. I hope that's okay, it's just you've put just as much into this, so it's both of our thread! As soon as it's posted, I'll provide a link!

Okay, here's the link to the new thread! I called a Time Travel RP.

Hmm, that might be easier to keep up with. If you like, you certainly may!
