I was thinking,

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I was thinking,

I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.

Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.

Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.

Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777

Suddenly transported to the 21st century.

Age: Unkown

Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.

Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.

Hope ya'll like my idea!

Do you think that we should god-mod their charries? They haven't posted in awhile...

I suppose so. We'll leave room for them to come back if they want.

~Dora~

I wandered around the giant city for hours before I got the nerve to ask for directions. It was dark by the time that I got near my home of crates. I passed the alley where Deliha and the others were. I longed to save them, but I wasn't that foolish as to try it now.

Suddenly, I was grabbed from behind, a pair of arms flung around my neck, almost smothering me.

"Here you are!" someone exclaimed, shouting it into my ear. "I thought I'd never find you!"

I shrieked, and kicked. I won't let them capture me, too!  I thought. "Get away from me!" I screamed. "You won't take me! You won't!"

"Dora!" the voice cried, and the arms let go. "Dora! It's me! Dehlia!"

I whirled around, gaspig for breath, and in surprise. "Dehlia? Oh, I'm so glad it's you! Where are Fliex and Errol? What happened to you in there? Did they want the time tears?"

"I'll tell you everything soon," Dehlia said, "but I must get away from there first. Where have you been staying?"

I led Dehlia to my little crate house, and gave her a stale piece of bread to knaw on as she told me everything.

"... I had to leave the other two with those horrible people so that I could escape and help them somehow," Dehlia finished with an apologetic sigh.

"I'm glad that I took these from Errol," I said, fingering the small bottle of time tears. "Were they mad that I escaped?"

Dehlia nodded. "Very. Oh! Dora, I forgot to tell you, but the boy was there, too! He and Liz seemed to be the leaders there."

"Liz! Oh, Dehlia, Liz is trying to find me!" I exclaimed, and over another slice of the stale bread, I told her what had happened.

"So what do we do know?" I asked after I had given Dehlia a detailed description of the event of the day.

"Go to sleep," she answered, lying down. "I'm tired. We'll think of something tomorrow."

So, before I write, I had a thought. Since we're kinda at a wall, and since everyone else has pretty much left, maybe we could throw a twist in there. What if we used the time tears to now go to the future to retrieve more? Then our captors could follow us? And what if the future is far more different than we thought? It could be like anything we imagine. From dark and dangerous, to bright and cheerful! It would leave us a lot of room to do whatever. Thoughts?

Great! And maybe we could meet Elixa again, too!

Wait, I just thought of something. The time tears aren't needed! We could go into battle for the tears, and find a way to get a big plot twist to happen, and the tears are taken away from us or something, and then we can get home without them. By killing ourselves! Remember, that's how Elixa got home!

Heroic sacrifice, I like it! Hmm. So maybe we sneak back in, and attempt to get the time tears? We then maybe free Eroll and Felix, and then kill ourselves (I had never really imagined I would ever type those two word together;)

Maybe we could rescue them, and hear something about the war (the one that Elexiah wrote on) and go into the future with the tears that we stole. We can meet Elixah, but not put two and two together. Then we could go into some battle, and win, and could be given some tears like Elixah's though they are forever-lasting (I mean that the tears are never ending) and are able to meet each other even though we have to go back home.

Ooh! I like that! Perhaps through this time traveling stuff, it alters us slightly, giving us the ability to simple time travel at will! Thoughts?

Great! But can we still be killed, then h=find the "traveling at will" Frankly, I really like the idea of that get home.

So do I! Maybe we can die, and start to "fade away," into particles of light. We then discover once we get back, that we can travel at will. Kinda reminds me of Keeper of the Lost City...

Yes! But how will we figure it? Through a dream? Or maybe we accutally meet up again?

Maybe something dramatic, that could lead us into something new! Maybe we could even go farther into the future, like apocolyptic times! (okay, getting ahead of myself). Hmm. How we discover it... By accident? I don't really know. I'll have to think on it. Maybe it'll come to me tonight. My good plots and ideas often come to me at night.
