-"I don't really have one, I suppose," I reply. "Though this park is quite nice. And so is anywhere...with you." I smile and add, "What about you?"-

|I tip my head so that it's touching hers. "You know, I'd say something similar. There are tons of places I'd like to go, and tons of places I love, but this one seems to be the best I've ever been in. I wonder what's so special about this park?" I add mischievously.|

|Lyra smiles, looking at the sunset that's suddenly started to flood the park with color. "-Aw, thanks,-" she says. "-And I love how you simply just glow, no matter what.-"|
|"Thanks. I think it must be because of you," I tell her. "You're incredible." I pause, noticing how the sunset light gives her hair a silky sheen. "If you could live forever or have one wish granted - aside from living forever - what would you choose?"|

-I think for a long moment, before finally saying, "Honestly, I would probably say having one wish granted. Since if I could live forever, everyone else would pass on and...it sounds lonely. And I suppose...not living forever makes us cherish the time we have already. My wish would probably be for world happiness and peace. What about you? What would you choose?"-

|"I think you're right," I reply. "Living forever is an amazing concept, but in reality... I'm not sure it would be so great. But, if I chose the wish, I don't know what I would wish for. Maybe also happiness and peace, or maybe just that everyone's most important wish comes true." I glance upwards, at the sunset that the delicate cherry petals are outlined against. "Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?"|

|Right now, I can't imagine anything better than this sunset, but I say, "I think sunrises in general. As you said, they're more peaceful, and sunsets - I don't know, they're more beautiful in themselves, but they're the end of something. They fade. It always makes me a bit - nostalgic, maybe, to have them just disappear. Sunrises are a beginning." I smile at her. "Like us."|

|"Probably," I say. Not that I ever want this afternoon to end; it was one of the happiest I've ever experienced. We turn and start wandering back along the path to where we started out. "What's your favorite thing about nighttime?"|

-"The peace and quiet," I say, smiling. "Well, it's actually not that quiet. You can hear owls hooting, crickets chirping...and you can see the serene glow of the moon and stars." I glance up at the sky, where the moon is climbing slowly. "What about you?"-
