I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with hot weather? Where I live, and apparently in various other parts of the country, it is beastly hot and I do not like it. My only advice, other than not going outside, turning on fans, and taking cold showers, is to suck on ice cubes.

I always just go to the pool, or eat something cold like ice cream. I also like having cold drinks, and I sometimes would just add an ice cube made of lime/lemon with a mix of water into a cup of cold water, and add some honey.

Uhh I think I severely underestimated the amount of stuff I would be doing at this program- it's only day one and I've been to three one-and-a-half hour lectures, one discussion, and one panel. It's 9pm and they just let me go back to my dorm T^T. It's okay though, I'm learning a lot and it's all very interesting, plus I'm making some pretty cool friends!

AHHHHH I THINK MY CRUSH LIKES ME!!!
So, last Saturday, my friend was at the church campout, and she asked her mom if she and I could have a sleepover there. Her mom said yes, and I went, AND MY CRUSH WAS THERE.
She and I explored the campsite a little, and we went to the lake, and my crush (Let's call him "S") and his brother (Let's call him "E") were in the water.
Fast forward to later that evenin', when the church picnic at the campsite was startin', I talked to S and said "Hey, I probably should tell you where my friend"-- R-- "and I are sittin'", 'cause I asked him to sit with us.
He did, and the three of us had a SUPER good time, and then the three of us went to the lake to swim for a bit, and then we hung out at R's campsite for a bit, and then we walked around until WAAAAAAY after 10 that night.
I told my mom, and she said that that's a sign HE LIKES ME!!!!!
AHHHH I HAD TO TELL Y'ALL!!!!
Annnnnnd I'll stop screamin' now-- OH WAIT.
So, the next day, on Sunday, R and I walked around the campsite at 7:51 in the mornin', and then we hung out with S and I (Who is one of my not-friends, let's call him "IE" actually), and we chilled, and talked, and we had breakfast AT THEIR CAMPSITE!!!
Ok, NOW I'm done.

Hi Scuttles! I wasn't aware that you were... off? You managed to slip onto the computer? So are you grounded from it? ANYWAYS! What I was GOING to say was I just finished a The Little Mermaid play (don't ask me about it) and I was wondering if your name has any relation to Scuttle, the seagull? Just curious!

Ah, like many other CBers, most of my screentime happens at school and during summer I don't really get much CB time. I'm not exactly grounded from the computer.
heheh, my name does not have any relation to the Seagull from lil' mermaid. I've actually only seen the little mermaid once a very long time ago and did not remember the seagull's name. I just chose it because it's a very nice name, and it captures the personality of my CBsona particularly well. Seagulls are cool though.
Also, I don't believe I've properly met you yet. May I ask, are you a new CBer, or perhaps an old and recently returned CBer, or something else?
