I went to the beach yesterday, and within the first five minutes of being there, some kids found a baby shark. Captcha said "GFRRR" Yes, I am being for real.

Alive. I wish I was one of those kids, but at the same time, I'm TERRIFIED of sharks, like to the point that I refuse to go in the ocean sometimes ._.

Hah! I was terrified of bees once, I wouldn't even step onto the field! Then a few years later, I was rescuing bees from drowning... and this is after I ACTUALLY got stung by a bee for the first time! Still kinda scared of them tho.
ALIVE?? AMAZING (tho hopefully the shark's fine!)! But yeah, that makes sense how two at once.

i went to a museum with my mom and sister today and apparently spent way too much time in the arms and armor section. it's not MY fault it's so cool--

have any of you lizards ever heard of Oral Allergy Syndrome? I just learned about it and I'm pretty sure I have it which is cool because it explains so many things! Basically it's when you're allergic to pollen, so when you eat fruits or vegetables that are similar to the pollen you're allergic to, it can cause a mild allergic reaction!
I'm most allergic to birch pollen and grass pollen, and the foods that make my lips/mouth itch and swell are apples, carrots, walnuts, and melons. Apples, carrots, and walnuts are cross-reactive to birch, and melons are cross-reactive to grass! My dad and sister are the same as me, and my friend also gets it with apples and cherries. I still eat these foods all the time though (except for melons, because they're gross and they make my mouth super itchy so why would I do that?)
(also, hi, I haven't been here in a while, how are all y'all? I got stung by a wasp yesterday because I was being dumb but honestly it did not hurt as much as I would have expected)

Actually, no, but that's pretty cool (not that your mouth gets itchy, sry about that)! I never realized that that could happen, but it makes sense!
(also, you got stung by a wasp?! Wow. Wasps are SCARY to me (even though I love all bugs, sometimes the two things are the same though), but I have never been stung by one. Good for you that it didn't hurt as much as you thought it would! :)

Okay, I had literally no idea about Oral Allergy Syndrom (OAS?) The only food allergies I knew about are to seafood, milk, nuts, and of course gluten and soy and all that stuff. Sometimes pineapple makes my mouth tingle... but I think that's the same for everyone, not a specific allergy. I'm glad you can still eat those fruits even if you're allergic to them, they taste so good :) Oof, I'm sorry about the wasp. I'm glad it didn't hurt that much though. I've been stung by bees on occasion, usually when I'm running or walking through clover, while wearing sandals. You can probably guess where I got stung :/ I am now a committed fan of sneakers.

Great news, people! After a lot of cajoling, pleading, threatening, wishing and downright begging (with my mind, or my AE's if you will), I've finally managed to half-coax my writing style out of the damp dark hole it's been hiding in for the last couple of weeks.
Translation: I wrote one and a half pages of dialouge in my story and I can read through it without feeling the urge to throw it all into the wastebasket. It still needs some polishing, but it's much, much better than the demons of illogic my pen has been creating these last few days. I just thought I'd share this to celebrate the partial defeat of writer's block :)
Captcha says digxw. Agreed, I still have some more digging to do before I can get it out of that hole, and before it decides to bury itself even deeper.
