UPDATE ON MY POST FROM JULY 9, ON PAGE 660 (well, July 10 from my POV): In the morning I got a text message from the Ministry of Education in my province... I've just been admitted by the best high school in my district, people! It has tennis courts and basketball courts and a swimming pool and a incredible library and is, simply, GIGANTIC. I'm supposed to head over there the day after tommorow to confirm my admission in person and get my school uniforms(and with it, homework for the rest of summer vacation, but never mind)! Words cannot express how hyped I am :D

Ok, I'm kinda confused.
So, there's this thing goin' 'round that CAPTCHAS are gonna take over the CB on the 10000th or so comment... yeah, what's that 'bout? I was thinkin' 'bout it last night, and I NEED TO KNOW please.
Also... there's gonna be somethin'... BIG happenin' to my life soon. I'm not tellin' y'all what, but keep an eye out.
'K, I'mma leave, my soon-to-be-published fanfic isn't gonna write itself!
...and I gotta watch some more of my crush's videos.

Ah yes. Well, first of all there was some concern that the CB would crash when this thread reached 10,000 comments, because there's never been a thread that long before and nobody knows if the website will be able to handle it. Then my CAPTCHA, Iffy, said <dyocb>, which definitely has to be interpreted as "die, O CB!" So the idea of a Captcha rebellion kind of got mixed up with the 10,000 comments idea, and in typical CB-fashion we decided there'd be a rebellion when this thread reaches that many comments...
Btw, good luck with this mysterious event that's coming up! Now you've made me curious about what it is... Ooh, and congrats on your fanfic!! Has it anything to do with Minecraft or Mike Nesmith?? ;)

@Poinsettia, well... the fanfic IS about Minecraft online personalities, but not 'bout Mike Nesmith (I lost my crush on him a few months ago). I hope to get it published soon, and my cousin, Ripley Wren (Don't know if you remember her, she left the CB a while ago) did the cover art.
Also, I do mean keep an eye out when this mysterious event happens. I don't know when it'll start, but it'll be soon. I'm not tellin' anyone what it is (except my family and friends; I thnk they're tired of hearin' 'bout it), but it'll be REALLY excitin' and new for me.

I used to have that habit too. Try giving yourself a piece of candy every time your nails become a certain lentgh and are unbitten, or paint them. It's less encouraging to bite your nails if they're covered with nail polish.
Or get some kind of fidget toy that replaces the habit.

My Captcha has a problem of not using vowels and giving me a lot of x's, z's, k's and other letters that rarely spell out words instead. Right now Captcha is saying <kwytg>...*groans*

Mark Rober said in his MIT commencement speech that he's already planned his June 2053 video: a collab with the 2023 MIT graduates. I'm not sure how he's going to pull that off, because by then he'll already be 73 or something.

Yes! I love Mark Rober! His videos are so cool and there's really no other person out there who is like him. The squirrel videos are definitely one of his best. I also love the ones where he gives a kid who had cancer or something like that a birthday party, because the kid is always so happy.
