Pheasantwithbooks created a drawing contest, which made me nostalgic for this photography contest (which I believe was also created by pheasantwithbooks, i could be wrong though)
anyways, if you're new here, these are the rules-
~the judge gives out a theme each round and sets a deadline for the pictures to be in by
~the participants follow the theme and submit their pictures
~the judge ranks the pictures, sometimes giving them feedback
~whoever comes in 1st gets to be the next judge!
i'll be the first judge, and i'll start with a very generic theme, nature! pictures will be due on February 28th.

There only really has to be 3 entries to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place so I don't think we need any more entries.

Fourth goes to...
TheaterGirl! A very pretty picture that captures the essence of summer. I think my favorite part were the cute ducks in the shimmering water! Awesome photo!

I really loved the still water- and that sunset! Don't get me started! It is so beautiful! Also the lighthouse frames it nicely. The dock/boardwalk thing is like perfectly level, which is hard to do :)
Second goes to... Moonlight!
I really love how the sunset changes the whole atmosphere. The clouds are so goldenly floofy!! It's a great picture, and I like how the dock stretches the pan of the photo! Noice job.
So first place goes to Autumn Artist!
Those rocks are absolutly cool. I love the contrast between rock, sea foam and stark blue of the waves and how the sky is cloudless. A really amazing colors and background.
Again, I am astounded by the amazing photos y'all have taken! To everyone, I heartily congratulate on these summer pictures.

For school we have to make a collection during the summer and I was going to do bugs but it was hard to get enough and to preserve them, so I decided to do a flower collection instead but you only have to take pictures. So the other night I went biking and photographed flowers and it was really fun. This picture the flower is really tiny and didn't turn out that well, but I really like how the clovers turned out
