NaNo, anyone?

NaNo, anyone?

Anyone else doing Camp NaNoWriMo this year? (Or using NaNo's resources in any way...) I started using it last year and I'm really enjoying it. I thought it was impossible for anything to be so inspiring. Of course my first novel was a mess, but oh well, because I have a new one.

Project K

Project K

It's 8:30 P.M. You're in the bathroom brushing your teeth when you here a tapping at the window. At first you ignore it, but it keeps on going, so you go over and look out. A little owl is making a dent in the window your dad just had replaced last summer. You open it to shew the bird away, but it flies in. It drops a sheet of paper and leaves.

For anyone who's

For anyone who's ever tried writting a novel (like me)

Has anyone tried writting a real book? Not the one everyone has done in 2nd grade. I mean a real book . If no one else has, thats ok. I'm on attempt #5 and could use some advise. Kudos, strawberri. P.S. What are you trying to write about?

Blackout Poetry

Blackout Poetry

For a while I've been wanting to do some blackout poetry, but I didn't have a book I was willing to desecrate by marking out all the words, so yesterday I bought a water-damaged 50-cent paperback from my library called The Manticore. Here's the first poem I've made.

Grammar SI!S

Grammar SI!

So, on this here thread: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/430486 I was struck with sudden inspiration. A grammar check SI!

Ok, surely you are confused. Well, here's how it works:

Come up with a name. (Commas and Such, Friendlyspellcheck, etc)

It will operate like any other SI, but you can try to lure people in by making gramar mistackes.
