Okay, so I have some first sentences that I'd like to put out. If you'd be so kind as to post a sort of storyline, that would be great.

if Emily Augusta Osborne had never set foot in 5036 Kolke, none of this would have happened.

it was a Monday, June 21st, and I was doing the dishes when the door blew open without a knock and into my life burst Saphire Grace.

Modern fiction round robin anyone?

Not futuristic, modern.  It doesn't matter what genre, but it seems that there are too many Renaissance-ish stories floating around.  Not to say that every story on here is Renaissance fantasy, of course.

So anyone want to participate?  I don't really have any plot ideas : (

But I'd like to make it more structured-i.e. one character per person and working out an outline beforehand so it doesn't get too crazy.

True/False Game!!!!!

Okay, I wasn't sure where to put this, so I'm just putting it in Inkwell. This is how you play. The first person (in this case, it's me) posts two false stories/statements, and one true story/statement about yourself. Everyone else has to guess which story/statement is false. You may only have one guess per person. Whoever guesses it first gets to go next. Then, everyone's guesses reset, and you can guess one guess on the next person's stories/statements. If you have any questions, just ask. Here's mine:

So I'm writing a book called A Layer of Fire.  It's about a girl, Zali, who has discovered that her village has been burnt to the ground!  So she sets out with her two friends Isile and Anny (and maybe a traitor or two) to destroy the evil gang that sent her village to smoke: the Ekinil.
