The sky was a wretched black. A few wispy clouds flitted over the waning moon. The black wolf’s tail flicked, waiting patiently. Ears pricked, he was alert for the howl. Six wolves concealed in the umbrage behind him, were waiting uncomplainingly, eyes darting nervously.

Hey guys! So, not everyone will like or appreciate this, but my dad and I (yes, ME) are writing a screenplay together and I wanted to see what you guys thought. Please keep criticism low.

Okay, I know there's already a bunch in Inkwell right now, but I needed something new. The other ones are not moving or are too developed for me.

Here's my character: Nathaniel

Age: 13

Appearance: Normal looking by regualr standards, with plain brown hair and a gaunt look on his face.

Faye pressed her head up against the locker. It felt cool against her fevered skin, and, looking down at the dirty linoleum, she could pretend she was somewhere else. "Why does this always happen to me?" she sighed.

"I dunno, kiddo," chirped her companion. "You're like a magnet!"

"Shut up, Sol."

Graceling RP! 

I've read Fire and Graceling so far and I'm planning on reading Bitterblue soon. I really love these books so I thought we could make an RP. I think it should take place in the seven kingdoms. You can be a Graceling or a human being if you want. And we can also have Monsters even though they technically live in the Dells. Should Leck still be alive during the RP?

Does anybody here know a cure for the word "then?"

I constantly try to not use the word then, but then I end up using other words repeatedly, like "grunted" and "paused" for some reason.

(Okay, maybe the goblins pauese for too long in my story--while grunting) 

Plus is there such thing as a synonym for "paused?"
