I will join, bit you're gonna have to explain this a little more in-depth to me. I'm not really sure what all those things are.

I recently searched these books (thank Heaven for goodreads!), and they look very cool! I absotootly want to read them! But, until then, please do tell me what those things are!

I just looked them up on wikipedia and they sound really good.  I think I might literally go to the library right now and check out the first one.  To read when I'm done with Cinder (which won't take too long.)  Heehee.  I suffer from CLUD majorly.

I'm about a quarter through Graceling, and I get the whole seven kingdoms, Gracelings and humans bit.  Not knowing anything about monsters or Leck. 

Name: Brenning

Age: 16

Appearance: Curly brown hair, kind of chopped off a little below the ears.  One green eye, one red eye.  Tall.

Grace: knife work and stealth.  As in cutting up vegetables to chopping off someone's head.  Completely useless otherwise in combat, unless she sneaks up behind someone.

So this doesn't really go anywhere but I thought I might as well start. :)

Cayenne –

The inn in front of me is filled to bursting. Men and traders from the North gather and I can hear the lull of their drunken singing. Except for the party at the inn, the streets are empty, without a single carriage or cat. I feel an icy cold shudder run down my spine as I observe. This place seems too empty. Has King Murgon found my hiding place? Is he continuing his search to capture me for his own greedy doings?

I look around, making sure that nobody is there to see me disappear into thin air. Then I close my eyes and wait. A second later I feel as if hot coffee has been poured down my throat but the feeling is gone s soon as it came and I am invisible. This is my gift. I am a Graceling.

Before my mother died, she’d often tell me the story of my birth. How I had had two green-brown eyes, like mossy tree bark and the next day one of them was gold. She hid me my entire life because if word had gotten to the king that I could turn invisible, he would’ve surely taken me from her.

Obviously, you cannot hide a growing child forever and that is why my mother’s dead and I am on the run, planning King Murgon’s death.

I slip in through the open inn door. I manage to squeeze past the body of some drunken trader, his beer running of the table from an upturned glass. The smell of cooking stew and meat wafts from the kitchen door. My stomach groans. I haven’t eaten since last night. I begin to weave my way through the lively men, diving to the side when someone comes closer. If they touch me they’ll become suspicious.

A twinkling of gold catches my eye. I turn and see a Lienid, sitting in a corner, completely alone. I know he’s a Lienid because of the many gold earrings in his ears and rings on his fingers. Why is he here? Suddenly I notice how the men in the inn keep glancing at him with an odd look in their eyes. Fear. My curiosity almost overwhelms me, I want to get closer to the mysterious Lienid in the corner yet my stomach grumbles again and I’m forced to turn towards the kitchens.  

Name: Fellia

Age: 15

Appearance: one eye aqua, one light silver-gray. Average height, auburn hair, with few brown high lights. Few freckles across her nose. Always wears her comfy, tan boots that go to her calf.

Grace: Breathing under water, and can partially communicate with fish. At least enough to get by.

You really don't need to know much about Leck and monsters unless we're doing this during/after Bitterblue.  Which I would totally recommend.

Which brings me to the question: what book is this during?  I'm assuming Graceling, right?

Name: Lilac

Age: 14

Appearance: one silver eye, one lilac eye.  blonde, tall, much jewelry.  Just overall Lienid!  (Hence the color name, lol)

Grace: Can make her voice sound like anything.
